This 2 bedroom house has a lovely, open, light and airy feel. Renovated in a clean, contemporary style, the large patio door and windows at the back of the house floods the mezzanine living room and kitchen diner with natural light. The kitchen looks out onto the pretty and secluded back garden, with high stone walls.

The bedrooms both have wardrobes, mirrors and an easy chair for relaxing and reading. They also have TVs. The bathrooms both have showers, sinks and toilets.

The house is situated on the edge of the village so there are vineyard views from the upstairs windows, but its just a 5 minute walk to the square with its 4 restaurants, 2 boulangeries, wine shops and convenience store.

absolutely nice holidays

We stayed here for a week in August and had a wonderful time. Meursault is realy worth a visit! The apartment is comfortable and well equiped. David is allways helpful and the neighbours were really nice. We can absolutely recommend to stay here!

Perfect for wine drinkers!

Lovely house with 2 large double beds, good kitchen, nice shower rooms but the water pressure was low, garage for bikes which we used for cycling around and great local shops, wine bars and restaurants (although the latter shut on a Wednesday). Great location in Burgundy.

Excellent little place to stay in Meursault. About a 10 minute walk to a wonderful Boulangèr, butchers and general store. Cafes & restaurants available too. Great cycling through the vineyards. Entrance to property through the garage where we kept our bikes, then up to well equipped kitchen, up another floor to sitting room and a bedroom and finally up to an attic bedroom. Both bedrooms have showers & a toilet. Attic room very, very hot in the summer. Definitely needed a fan or two. The bed linen was lovely. Little outdoor, secluded ‘garden’ with table and chairs. Great place to stay for a few days in this region hence this was my third visit.

Eine unserer besten Unterkünfte ever.Bequeme Betten, bestens ausgestattete Küche,dörfliche Ruhe, dabei fünf Restaurants und ein kleiner Supermarkt bei einem Spaziergang durch die Weinberge erreichbar - ein uneinsehbarer Innenhof mit Sonnenliegen, überaus ausführliche Informationen zu Wein/Weingütern und Restaurants... Was will man mehr?Darüber hinaus ist Sarah und David ihr Vorhaben,das Haus so umzubauen, dass es einen klaren modernen Look hat, aber seine authentisch - dörflichen Umgebung nicht verleugnet, sehr gut gelungen, wie wir finden.Genau so etwas ist schwer zu finden! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Herzlichen Dank!

Belle maison, parfaitement équipée, propre, idéalement située.

La maison est très bien équipée, tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer un bon séjour y est disponible. Elle est confortable et cossy. Elle est très bien située, dans un endroit extremement calme. Les conseils de David et Sarah sont très appréciables, et permettent de se sentir immédiatement chez vous avec les bons repères.

Stylish and well equipped

This property has been stylishly and imaginatively renovated and is ideally located for anyone interested in the wonderful food and wine of Burgundy. The house was clean, well equipped and maintained. Any small problems that we had were quickly and cheerfully answered by the owners rep. We thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic kitchen, very comfortable accommodation

We found this accommodation extremely comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, my husband very excited to find a range of sharp knives and a range of saucepans, after having travelled for a couple of weeks, this was a welcome luxury. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living area were very comfortable. We were travelling with our 2, (11 & 13yo) daughters and found this perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the village of Meursault and the surrounding area. We enjoyed a short walk to the village bakery in the mornings, local restaurants and the atmosphere of staying in a wine making area during vintage. The owners were great to deal with, allowing us some flexibility and offering some travel advice. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming property well located

This is a unique, recently rennovated two bedroom home situated slightly out of the town center of Meursault, but well within walking distance. The owners provide a very nice welcome package with wine and 'nibbles' and there are copious amounts of literature, maps, and guide books to help you plan your visit in the region. There are several excellent restaurants in Meursault, as well as two excellent boulangeries and a very good butcher shop and a small but good general grocery. Wineries abound and there are several tasting rooms in easy walking distance. The layout of the unit is a little eccentric and there are a lot of stairs, mostly without handrails, so this is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. The small refrigerator had a broken shelf in the door, which, unfortunately, was the only place you could put taller items, so we had to be very careful and mindful of this when opening and closing the refrig. The coffee maker is a French press. If you are not familiar with the operation of one of these, be sure and read up before your stay. Note too that the cookware (very nice high quality stuff) has detachable handles - there are a couple of handles for four or five pots/pans. If you haven't seen this particular set up, it is easy to miss the handles for a day or two. The washer is a combined washer/dryer and we never really did quite conquer the proper operation of this - at least insofar as the dryer part was concerned. We seemed to get either very damp dry or totally roasted clothes and used the wooden dryer rack and/or the towel warmer to finish drying our things. The highest upstairs bedroom has a 'normal' en suite layout, and the bed is on a raised dais above the small sitting area. The 'mid-level' bedroom (you enter at the garage, go up some steps to the kitchen, then more steps - no handrail - to the living area and this bedroom) shares the toilet enclosure with the living area, has a sink and mirror -my husband said it was very difficult to use to shave-right at the doorway into the bedroom, and a shower tucked around the corner on the other side of the bed. There is not really a closet in this room, just a half-length open hanging area near the shower. Heating is by radiator and was very cozy. I would imagine it could be warm in the summer, however. All of the business operations were easily managed and we enjoyed our stay very much.
