Lovely Devils Lake Cabin Baraboo Dells Huge Yard Skiing Best Location!

The Devils Lake Grand Cabin is a beautifully built Amish log cabin located next to the entrance of Devil’s Lake State Park (Wisconsin’s largest and busiest state park). 1 mile to North Shore beach. It is also conveniently located only 8 miles from Devil’s Head Ski Resort, 15 miles from Cascade Mountain & just 15 miles from Wisconsin Dells. The Tumbled Rock Microbrewery/Restaurant has live music during the summer, which you can view from the front porch.
The cabin can accommodate up to 12 guests. There are 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms plus a loft with 2 beds. The master suite is on the upper level and has a private bath and shower. The Master suite showcases a king-size bed, skylights and a double bed. The loft, which is located at the top of the upper stairs has a twin bed and a double bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are located down a small set of stairs and each have log framed queen size beds. All 3 bathrooms have showers. Two of the bathrooms have bathtubs. Linens and towels are provided.

The living room features vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, a 47” TV with DVD player and a ROKU for streaming. Living room includes a stone gas fireplace and 2 futons that can be pull-out beds. The fully equipped kitchen comes with an oven, stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, dishes, utensils and coffeemaker. There is an island with stools for extra seating. The dining area has an amazing log crafted table with a bench on one side and 3 log chairs on the other. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, hair dryers and parking in driveway. There are various DVDs, board games, puzzles and books to enjoy.

Outside there are two spacious covered decks on the front and back of the cabin. The backyard deck has a large farm style table with lots of extra seating. Also in the backyard is a large fire pit and picnic table ideal for s’mores and scary ghost stories. The huge backyard boasts plenty of space for games and lots privacy that your friends and family will enjoy. Feel free to pick apples & plums in September/October from our trees.

We had such a great weekend at this cabin. It was a perfect home base with plenty of room for everyone. Our first night, we walked to the brewery across the street for dinner. The next day, we skied at Devil’s Head, which was only a quick 15 minute drive, so it was very convenient to come back, make dinner, and then go back out to ski some more. We had so much fun!

Lovely Cabin in a beautiful area close to Devils Lake, with nice restaurant close-by. Cabin was spacious and well stocked, and had a nice fire pit and outdoor eating area.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. Very clean, had everything we needed. We were a family of 4 adults and 3 kids, we cooked several meals and enjoyed time on the back porch and around the fire pit. Proximity to devils lake park was excellent. A bonus surprise was the brewery right down the street! We would stay here again.

Great Retreat for Graduation Weekend

The cabin is everything that you mayo want. Close enough to Madison, away enough to enjoy the surrounding nature, and the bonus- it is right by a great brewery with good food and live music. We will be back next year.

This lovely home was sparkling clean and well supplied. Our three families had plenty of space to relax and play with the 3 grandchildren, ages 6, 4, and 3 years old. The location was close to the wonderful Driftless Glen restaurant and Broadway Diner. And, we could walk across the street to the Tumbled Rocks restaurant. We spent several days enjoying the spectacular Devils Lake. We will be back next year!

Perfect for our family

The cabin was exactly what we expected and fit our family perfectly for our Christmas in July vacation. It has been over ten years since our family got together for Christmas, and the cabin was our destination for a celebration in July. We set up a Christmas tree around the campfire, opened presents, shopped in the nearby downtown, and explored Devil's Lake. The location of the cabin was perfect and we had a great weekend! Thank you for welcoming us into your home away from home.

Perfect for our family!

We just got back from a wonderful family vacation in Baraboo/Devil's Lake! The home was clean and comfortable, and was very well-stocked with more than enough towels, extra bedding, and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen for our family of 9 adults. Communication with the owners was great, and we highly recommend staying with them! The location is super close to the state park entrance, and Tumbled Rock Brewery is just steps away with good food and live music. Overall, a wonderful place for us to reconnect with our adult kids and their significant others, and we had an amazing vacation! Thanks Bret and Michelle!

Great Family Time!

This was a great place to stay with my parents and 3 families with kids ranging from 1 to 7 years old. Every family had their own space but also enjoyed the openness of the kitchen and living room. We loved that every cupboard and light switch had a label. Many fun memories sitting around the farmhouse table on the deck and time spent around the fire pit. It was a bonus being able to hang out on the front porch and watch the bands play at the brewery and being a minute's drive from Devil's Lake. Would definitely like to make a return trip in the future.

Close to Devil's Lake and Live Music

This is the second time we have stayed at Bret and Michele's house. They are very responsive hosts, the house is thoughtfully equipped and the property is as listed. This is the first time we stayed on the street with the summer daily live music at the nearby restaurant - and the decibel level varies from not being heard inside the house to feeling the bass level vibrations through the floors and furniture. Their space and access to the park and Baraboo area is great, the daily hours of music may be more to another family's liking than it was to ours.

The cabin is right next to both entrances for Devil’s Lake State Park. The cabin is beautiful and can accommodate large groups. There is a golf course and Winery 1-mile away. Cascade Mountain and Devil's Head Ski resorts are under 10-miles away. The Tumbled Rock Microbrewery has bands in the summer and exceptional food and drink. The Zoo, Distillery and Circus are close by.
