Adorable 900 sf 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage situated next the main house on the 9 acres country retreat. Country kitchen, radiant heat flooring on situated on a lovely 9 acres to stroll around of just soak in the peace and quiet. There is one queen bed in the bedroom and one twin bed, with twin trundle, one bathroom with shower, living room with couch and chair, and dining table. 5 miles to Grass Valley 6 miles to Nevada City and 3 miles to Rollins Lake, 6 miles to Nevada Country Fair Grounds Only 45 min North of Sacramento, and 50 minutes to Tahoe. This is a cozy comfortable cottage that offers lots of peace, quiet and tranquil. A perfect get-a-way. A beautiful and cozy place to get away!

The Cottage is as described. Enclosed yard for dogs. Well appointed and a quiet location. Fresh flowers on the table were a nice touch. Short drive to all cities in the vicinity.

The Perfect Getaway

The country cottage was wonderful! It's tucked away in the woods but still close to town and any of the fun things you plan on doing in the area. It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. Trish was amazing, she made sure we had all we had everything we needed, and gave us our privacy. I would definitely recommend this place if you're planning a trip to the Grass Valley or Nevada City area!

Great Place

Trish was very pleasant and extremely accommodating, she even filled a big cement pond so my pups could swim daily. The grounds are beautiful, filled with old cedars and oaks with paths around the property. We were very comfortable there, the cabin cozy and convenient. Only 7 mintes from town for groceries, etc. Nights peaceful and all in all a relaxing and happy experience. A washer/dryer for convenience too. And the kitchen was well stocked with the necessities. Bathroom clean, new, and wonderful.

Great place to stay.

I stayed a week while my father was in the hospital. It wasn't quite summer so the window A/C units hadn't been installed yet but it was still quite warm during the day. I asked Trish for fans and she had two within minutes, delivering two more later. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful Cottage in the woods

Had a wonderful stay. The cottage is decorated beautifully, was extremely clean and very easy to relax in. Loved cooking in the kitchen, grilling outside, enjoying my morning coffee outside and exploring the property. Would definitely recommend staying here. Would definitely return.

Treat in the woods

This was a great place in the woods. Great place for people and furbabies. Close and easy to local stuff but not so close. If you want to be close to town but away from it all at the same time. Trish was great and friendly. The house was warn and comfy and very homey.

This property is private and serene and beautiful. It's very has deer or wild turkey's roaming around. Easy access from Highway 174/Colfax Exit off Hwy 80. Rollins Lake is 3 miles away. Grass Valley is a quick 5 miles and Nevada City is a quick 6 miles. And it's all on 9 private acres.
