Great property and location

We love the kahana sunset and had a blast however this unit is missing a few amenities in the kitchen. I had to buy a spatula and use a makeshift measure cup. The dishwasher smells pretty bad. Maybe this is tmi but there wasn't a plunger in the unit either Iits a great place to stay and amazing location, just needs a few updates.

Good location but unit was in need of a remodel

Very dated, over head fan on the range was missing and seems to have been gone for sometime, everything from carpets to doors cabinets were in rough shape. We’ve stayed at the Kahana Sunset multiple times but this was very disappointing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed iin several of the Kanaha sunset condos. This one was unfortunately the worst of them. There was a dead cockroach, food from prior renters, very poor internet, lack of good cooking utinsils, doors and cabinets that needed adjusting, and an overall lack of cleanliness. In addition this was the most outdated condo we have stayed in.

Vacation with family

Property needs new furniture. We did get a new couch thanks to Karen during our stay. Thank you Karen! Having no A/C was okay after day 1, as we learned how to keep inside cooler & take advantage of mornings & evenings on the lanai. LOVED the up front ocean view!

Cockroaches.

We had to kill two cockroaches. No extra towels. Not enough sheets. Not enough pillows. Sleeps 4 not 5. Kitchen cabinets don't close. Light fixture on the way of the upper cabinet. Walls are not sound proof. Neighbor banged on our wall because the TV was too loud. WiFi is spotty at best. Leaf blowers and gardenerer are super early and super loud.

This place was amazing. Me and my family enjoyed the private beach and the sunset from that spot was just perfect. I will definitely recommend and stay there if i ever make it back.

Nice place

Its a nice place. It is a little dated. The beach at the condo is nonexistent. The water came all the way to the seawall. It was clean and we didn't have any issues.

Great location, beautiful property, average stay

This vrbo is located in a great location! It's close to so many great beaches (Kapalua Beach was the best!) and restaurants. The property itself was really nice; there is a very nice and clean pool, along with beach access. The beach itself wasn't particularly amazing, but it was great to relax there at the end of the day to watch the sunset. The unit we stayed in was nice. We did not know it was a 2-storey unit and this proved to be problematic for our young kids. The unit was okay, nothing special. Although the unit was clean, the floors were sticky and the carpeted stairs were very dirty. Besides that, the furniture and appliances were relatively clean. We had a nice stay here and would recommend in the future. A side note: the parking lot is super tight and difficult to park in.

It was a great location to explore more the north west area of Maui and it resort itself was friendly, clean and wonderful. Our condo met all of our needs. There are some nuances with the kitchen and we noted there was one cockroach that scooted underneath the sink so you may want to check on that.

Amazing location! Great condo.

Kahana sunset was absolutely amazing! The condo itself was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and had just enough to get the job done. The beds & pillows were nice. If your expectations are through the roof this property may fall short. If your looking for great value at an even better location. Then this is the perfect place! I'll definitely be looking for this place on my next trip to Maui! 🤙

It turns out it was never booked it to begin with, even with a follow up email. So, we didn’t have a place to stay after leaving our first location. They ended up putting us in a condo that was dirty, hot, and had ants in our daughters bed. I am highly disappointed. Kahana sunset was gorgeous, but the handing of the reservation and the B7 condo (very poorly maintained) was a huge let down. We spent thousands of dollars to have such a ****** experience. Good thing maui is so gorgeous and kept us out of the condo and entertained. I will never book through Sullivan Properties again.

The unit we had was not as well equipped as others, but we made do with the kitchen. Sullivan properties did bring out a knife set right away when we told them that we had no steak knives, and replaced the smoke alarm when it malfunctioned.

Disappointing

Condo has not been updated. Tiny kitchen. Screen door kept falling off.It smelled bad. Parking was terrible, once parked it was too tight to get out of the car. Nice view from deck.

loud and dirty and not in Lahaina.

We booked this property thinking it would be in Lahaina central (as shown on the map). It's not. It's about 8miles north of Lahaina. This place was dirty, moldy and loud. The beds were uncomfortable, the tabs broken and the shower impossible to turn on. Don't rent this.
