Peace, Tranquility, and Relaxation. If that's what your looking for you've found the right house. This is a charming two bedroom home, built in the early 1920's, located on a private 2 acre tract of land. Fireflies dance at night and deer graze in the back field during the day. This is truly a home where you can get back to nature. The house has two porches and a deck. From the enclosed porch you can watch the serene views from inside the home. The enclosed porch has its own door for privacy and with the addition of a blow up mattress can easily be converted into a third bedroom. The two bedrooms each contain queen sized beds. The kitchen is fully furnished. The side yard is big enough to park any and all boating equipment you may have, especially since the Robeson Creek boating access, a free boat put in that leads directly into Jordan Lake, is just 0.4 mile down the road. For the more extreme sportsman the Robeson Creek canoe access, also free, is just 0.1 mile down the road. The access road is a mile long and lined with woods; its great for hiking. The Haw River canoe access is also about 1.5 mile up the road. The usual sounds of nature are occasionally mixed with a big cat growl. The Carolina Tiger Rescue is only 0.4 mile up the road and is a great place to take the family to see the big cats up close. The house is only 3 miles form historic downtown Pittsboro, where there is unique shopping and dinning for any budget. Don't find what your looking for in town. The home is only 20 to 30 minutes from Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and Chapel Hill.

Great space! We saw lots of deer right by the porch. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook some thanksgiving dishes. Will definitely book again when we’re in the area!
The property was clean and accurate as listed (plus a few small upgrades i.e. TV, etc.). We enjoyed kayaking and seeing and listening to the wildlife. Check in was a breeze and the area is peaceful and quiet throughout the day.
I held my bachelor party at this property and Amanda was so helpful during the checking process. We had a great time on the property and enjoyed the fire pit with no worry about bothering neighbors. The property was great for hosting.
Quaint and Quiet little get away in a very special niche of Pittsboro. Big open kitchen, sprawling back yard, wide and clear skies. Looking forward to the next time. And if you keep quiet enough you can even hear the Tigers talk to you from time to time. Thank you!-C
The house was perfect! Super. Cute. Spent a lot more time there than expected because we were not able to go fishing. Living area a kitchen very comfortable. Had everything we needed.
Lovely, charming home with sunroom on beautiful property with flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies (visible from sunroom). Very comfortable for respite and/or visiting with family. Very short drive to canoe and boat access points on Jordan Lake. Hiking trail accessible from canoe access point.
Beds were very comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again.
We had everything we needed in this house. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was nice to have extra cleaning supplies when we needed them. We spent a lot of time off property, so we weren’t there very often. It is right near the tiger sanctuary and we were hoping to hear the tigers at night, but we couldn’t. It was very quiet. The walk down to the river access was nice.
Insgesamt schöner Aufenthalt, das Innere des Hauses ist schon älteren Datums, der Zugang zum See weniger attraktiv als erwartet. Erholung ist gewährleistet.
We feel like we discovered a secret hideaway. Our kids are safe running around the spacious yard and it is just a 15 minutes drive to beautiful sandy beaches.
This trip we took advantage of the fire ring outback.
Well equipped, especially the kitchen, cute cottage near Jordan Lake. Worked well for our family of 4. Cannot see how more than 4 people would be comfortable. Amanda, the property owner, was kind, responsive and knowledgeable about the locality and its offerings. Would consider returning next year.
This house was awesome! Our first time staying at a Vrbo house and we loved it! Kids can't wait to come back again next summer.
House was bright and clean. Quiet and peaceful. The kids loved every minuet of it... including going to the pond and seeing a ton on little teeny tiny frogs! They saw a fish jump out of the water too. Next time we'll bring our fishing poles.
Property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. They made the process so easy. Can't wait to come back.
The property owner was fantastic, and the place is ALWAYS a joy to rent. In fact, myself and friends would like to make this a yearly thing... Location is fantastic, close to any needs we have, and just a quiet and comfortable setting!
Quaint, comfortable beds, relaxing location, still close to town, quiet neighborhood, backyard made it feel like we were out in the country all by ourselves, enjoyed the grill, fire pit, & portches. Pittsboro has wonderful shops, eateries, & craft beer/wine. Loved hearingvthe big cats at Carolina Tiger Rescue - purchase tickets 2 months in advabce to see them.
