What makes this Cabin unique
The dual cabins make for a very comfortable staying/entertaining experience. Perfect for two families or provides an extra space for the kids to hang out while the adults enjoy time on the deck. This set up also gives a "compound" feel with privacy to be with friends and family without the intrusion of close-by neighbors.

Homey with a beautiful view!
My family was going to Idaho for a surprise birthday party for my sister that lives in Idaho. We rented the home instead of all of us renting hotel rooms. The accommodations had everything that we needed. The views were wonderful. It was very peaceful.
Beautiful piece of property.
We had 6 adults & had plenty of room. Parking was a little dicey but Pat warned us about it & it all worked out. Ate bfk & dinner on the deck every day, awesome view. Would rent this cabin again & highly recommend it.
Thank you for the nice review. We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves!!
Excellent place to stay
We had an excellent stay. Perfect location for what we were doing and close to restaurants etc. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were two families of four and would highly recommend this property!
Very charming cabin with amazing views
Everything was great!
Amazing property- so much fun
We went for a bachelorette party and had the most fun. While in seclusion, we were still only 30 minutes away from downtown CDA and 8 minutes from food. There should be a warning though that if you're out of shape (like we all found out we were) the trek back up from the lake is rough. Hahaha. So well worth it though. The driveway can be a bit tricky but after the first time it wasn't bad at all. Overall, we had an absolute blast and loved every second of our vacation.
The area and views from the home are beautiful but not an ideal property to be a vacation rental.
The area and views are fantastic! The deer and wild turkeys were everywhere. The home was very clean and well decorated. The listing said it had air conditioning but only the master bedroom had a portable unit. The loft with two twin beds was very warm and my granddaughters were uncomfortable with only one small window to cool the the A frame loft. There is an opening in the handrail at the loft that any small child could fall from. The parking situation is poor at best for more than one medium sized vehicle. The shared driveway only has a carport and about twelve more feet( est.) and the rental owner directs not to stop on the neighbors property but you can't get kids in and out of a car seat in the carport. Met the neighbors with the shared driveway and they were very polite and helpful to us. To park on the street then you need to pack what ever you brought down the stairs and around the house. The dock was nice but couldn't put my boat in the slip because there was a boat in it. The pathway from the cabin to the dock was a pretty good climb and was not ideal for young children or seniors. There was no hot water in the small cabin so we all shared the tub shower in the main house. The water coming into the house is from the lake so the property came with two 3 gallon water bottles that didn't last long. We still had a good time and enjoyed the view but not an ideal rental property In my opinion.
Thank you for the nice compliments regarding the area and the views from our home. To clarify for others considering our property for their vacation stay; The listing specifically states "Stand alone unit in the master bedroom only". We have had unprecedented warm weather this late summer season. Ordinarily, A/C is not necessary. We just used our own cabin this past holiday weekend and parked a RAV4, a BMW X5 and a Toyota Tundra CrewMax all down behind the small cabin. We also parked our boat trailer above on the road. The 12' you speak of (it's actually 16') is plenty enough room to exit vehicles and unpack belongings. We were sorry about the hot water; it only needed a breaker switch to be flipped. We make ourselves readily available for questions and problems and had this only been brought to our attention, we could have quickly and easily resolved this issue over the phone. As for the boat in the slip, we offered to move it but the decision was made ahead of time that it wouldn't be necessary. The views are incredible on our side of Hayden Lake. Those views are not possible without a steep (but very doable) walk down to the water. Per your suggestion, we have added information to the listing regarding the suitability of this property for seniors and young children. We are glad you enjoyed your stay, nevertheless.
