Self Contained Cottage With Two Bedrooms And Mountain Views

Eyreview Retreat is a self catered two bedroom farmstay cottage, privately situated within the Canterbury Plains on the East Coast of New Zealand s South Island. Your hosts Julia and David look forward to welcoming you to their private and safe slice of New Zealand paradise and will be available at anytime to offer assistance.

Your stay includes free private car parking and free unlimited WiFi within an exquisite rural setting, with panoramic mountain views. The perfect place to relax with a glass of New Zealand wine or fresh coffee.

Only 25 minutes from the city of Christchurch / International Airport and central to many attractions within Canterbury. On a clear night, enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the mountains and the brightness of the stars in the night sky.

This fully contained private cottage includes two bedrooms, bathroom, a kitchenette, dining room and lounge area offering a flat screen TV with DVD player and choice of movies to view. Also has an excellent outdoor area where adults can relax and enjoy the panoramic mountain views whilst the children can safely run around. There is also a sun terrace with BBQ facilities. The property is also home to border collies and farm animals including alpacas, horses and ponies. Guests can also interact with the alpacas.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Simple, functional space in a quiet reserved farming area. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was just a short drive to Rangiora. David brought us fresh-baked bread, which was fantastic. We ran into some unexpected health issues and David was extraordinarily kind and helpful.

Quiet country spot

It was a peaceful rural place, perhaps not luxurious but quite comfortable, with all essentials. It may be a bit small for more than 2 adults but for 2 it was fine. The heat pump made it warm and there were electric blankets (a huge bonus for me). We had wanted to stay in Rangiora and this was about 15 minutes away. Breakfast was cereals, juice and a loaf of fresh bread. with butter and jams/marmalade, with coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. We enjoyed sitting out in the sun and looking at the alpacas.
