A very enjoyable stay in this lovely cosy cottage. Very spacious inside and nicely furnished. The kitchen is a good workable space and the bathroom just right. The shower is very good! A perfect hideaway in your own forest to rest, relax, and take a soak in the outdoor tub. Completely private but reassuring the hosts are nearby. John and Marion are delightful. They respect privacy whilst being so welcoming and kind. Thank you for the lovely place to escape the city and re-set :-)

A north Canterbury oasis

This is a lovely wee cabin in a very pretty forest setting. It's very comfortable and well kitted out. The hosts John and Marion are absolutely charming and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Wonderful all round

Wonderful property, wonderful hosts and a wonderful time. Posto Bello cottage was the perfect wee gem to detach and relax for a couple of days. The exquisite garden Marion and John have created makes you feel you could be anywhere in the world, the outdoor bath was so relaxing and the cottage was clean, warm and homely. We'll be back. Awesome peacefulness

Third time at this property and it was just as good as the first. Outdoor bath completes the package looking at the stars and listening to the birds.

A little slice of paradise

Hosts were friendly and helpful on arrival. The cabin is very clean and well equipped. A private cabin in a lovely setting. The bath is the icing on the cake.

New Years Eve Getaway

Beautiful location which is well set up. Lovely clear night meant we were able to watch the stars from the outdoor bath. Lovely hosts who are nearby to help if needed but leave you be if not. Check out the waterfall walk at glentui picnic area up the road. Look forward to visiting again

Perfect cozy getaway. Bliss!

We just needed a quick mini-break before the Christmas madness and this cottage and surroundings were perfect. We could hunker down and read books in peaceful tree surrounds, or drive out to the many walking tracks not too far away for beautiful scenery and exercise. The hosts were super nice but also left us to it. We will definitely return to explore more of the area, and enjoy the outdoor bath and star gazing! Thank you!

Restful & relaxing

We really enjoyed the private space surrounded by many trees and birdsong. We also appreciated the very hospitable hosts, the hammock and having a bath under the stars. It was a great place for a long weekend and I hope we can return at some stage.

So much more than what the pictures show.

So much more than what the pictures show. It was so peaceful. The hosts also let you wander the grounds to see the animals and enjoy their garden. A lot of nice walks nearby (like Mt Thomas). We will definitely be coming back

Bach was immaculate and very comfortable. Heatpump kept the rooms very warm. The outdoor hot tub is a big plus. Highly recommended!
