Architecturally designed cottage directly on Long Island Sound in Joshua Cove in Guilford, CT. The cottage offers peace and tranquility with breathtaking views of Long Island Sound with Western exposure for wonderful sunsets. The 1Br 1 bath cottage with an additional sleeping loft accomodates ideally 2 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking (there are 2) etc. right just steps away from your door, or just reading a book on the comfy couch while listening to the sounds of the ocean.

Wonderful, relaxing stay overlooking Joshua Cove

Just what we needed - a place to stay for fun but restful family gathering. Perfect spot for sunsets, kayaking, and swimming. Easily accessible to some great restaurants. The cottage was very comfortable with a wonderful outdoor shower. The owners were very welcoming during our stay.

Amazing property, Amazing hosts

Our anniversary weekend will be one to remember this year… We enjoyed the property from the minute we checked in… Beautiful private beach allowed us to relax in the afternoon sun while watching the tide come in. We spent hours on the patio looking out into the cove enjoying breathtaking sunsets and crisp mornings enjoying our coffee. Amazing property, Amazing hosts…

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

We didn’t want to leave. This cottage is comfy inside and out. The property is beautifully landscaped, enticing monarchs and osprey to visit. The water makes for a divine swim. The inside sitting area is cozy for a movie. It’s a short drive to town for great restaurants and stores.

Beautiful seaside cottage

The home was really special. Small but clean and with huge windows to let in the view. Amazing views and right on the Sound. Very easy access to the ocean with the available kayaks. The hosts were very friendly and everything went smoothly. Loved the stay.
