Absolutely stunning property

Perfect property with stunning views of the country. Highly recommend for a family of two if you are looking to stay in Braidwood!

Beautiful location and accomodation

This beautiful house surrounded by mountains was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The house had all the modern facilities and suited our big group perfectly with the spacious living and dining area. The children in the group also had a great time due to the toys and bunk beds! I would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning

This property is absolutely picturesque. It catered to my children, finding toys around the house which helped so much. The house was stunning and had everything we needed.

On A Hill wonderful home and relaxing peaceful surroundings

Fabulous house which is well equipped and spacious. Comfortable sleeping arrangements, modern amenities and well appointed. A home from home. Love the fire pit during crisp cleat evenings.

We stayed at this fabulous property over Christmas with three families and it felt like home away from home. Beautiful touches and furnishings including quality Sheriden linen and towels. So many activities and toys to keep the kids busy during their stay and the kitchen was well equipped. The only thing that would make this property even better would be the addition of a pool or spa and some shade cloth over the back deck. Apart from that we cannot fault this beautiful property and our furry friend was also well catered for. Thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful house set on a gorgeous property

Beautiful place. House was clean and roomy, and amenities were good. Love the off grid setup - we honestly didn't notice a difference. Well done. The only note is that WiFi is available in the house but not to guests (may be a side effect of only having satellite reception)? Although we could get mobile reception.

Beautiful home in stunning location.

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing house. We so appreciated being able to bring our dog. The kennel area and fencing was perfect.

Catchup with friends

This property is a fabulous getaway. We were a crowd of 3 adults, 4 kids aged between 6 and 14 and 1 puppy. Being about 3 hours from Sydney, the drive was an easy one. The house is immaculate. Plenty of bedrooms and 2 spacious open living areas joined in between by the large dining table. Whomever is in the kitchen can easily partake in any conversation happening in the room. Plenty of games, puzzles, dvds and books to entertain. The day bed was my favourite spot of an afternoon as the sun streams in through the day bed window. Fire pit outside and fireplace inside with plenty of wood to keep you warm (or just to toast marshmallows). Although notably, the house itself wasn't cold even without the fireplace on. 2 friendly neighbourly horses were present throughout most of our stay... ready to eat any treats you may offer. Backyard is fully fenced and perfect for our very active puppy... dog kennel outside and dog bed inside. They truly have catered for everyone. Added care was taken to wrap all the throw blankets scattered around the living areas in plastic to ensure we knew they had been laundered. Plenty of additional toys are in the bunk room. Laundry is spacious with clothesline and dryer available. We also enjoyed a nice stroll down to the dam on the property. We enjoyed the place so much we didn't feel the need to venture into town-- so make sure you bring all the food and drink you need in case you decide to stay put and do the same. The hosts are extremely generous in the added extras left for guests enjoyment. ie bath salts, toiletries, chocolates. Only minor advice for those booking here-- navman tells you the property is closer to the beginning of the road than it actually is-- so keep driving a few hundred metres further than it says. We will be back. Thank you for a memorable stay.
