A beautiful, light-filled home full of quirkiness, appealing to families or small groups of up to 6. A luxurious king-size master bedroom retreat with its own lounge area, the cosy living room with a slow combustion wood heater, a private garden that backs onto public reserve bushland and a sun-soaked courtyard, perfect for lounging around with a book in hand.

The moment you walk in the door, you will love it! From the cute and quirky knick-knacks and intriguing art collection on the walls to Betty Boop greeting you at the front door, no expenses have been spared when preparing Lovett as the perfect holiday home even down to the quality of the linen supplied.

Close enough to cafes, shops and the hustle and bustle of Mittagong township, yet far enough away to enjoy peaceful nights, this home has broad appeal to both families and small groups. Lovett is an articulately designed home with a cosy living area, perfectly positioned around the potbelly fire great for snuggling around and playing a game or two of backgammon or just enjoying a glass of local wine and a good book.

Enjoy the jovial atmosphere of the dine-in kitchen, where you can relax with the French doors wide open, listening to the birds' chirp and flutter amongst the trees. Step outside to breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy your morning coffee in the sunny courtyard, which is surrounded by mature trees.

Sunshine and warmth beam through the enclosed partial glass walkway separating the main house from the master suite, which has a beautiful outlook over the garden. The amber and green shades of the garden filter through the picture windows to complement the misty grey walls and navy and sage cushions, creating a subtle and soothing space.

The second bedroom provides a whimsical and playfully quaint vibe with trinkets, dramatic furniture and a mannequin while the smaller third bedroom is perfect for kids or singles. Each of the bedrooms has its own heating.

Lovett is ideally located within walking distance to parks and just a short 5-minute drive to feed the ducks at Lake Alexandra before tackling the surrounding nature walks. Take a drive to the top of Mount Gibraltar, affectionately known as The Gib to the locals and soak in the spectacular views of Bowral or enjoy a wine tour of the many wineries in the Southern Highlands. Bowral's boutique shopping and eateries are also just a 7- minute drive.

Linen
All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover.

Property Specific Notes
Enough wood will be supplied for the fireplace/slow combustion wood heater for the first two nights. After that, guests must purchase top-up wood and kindling from the local petrol stations at their own cost.

Pets are NOT welcome at this property.

This property does NOT have internet access or Wi-fi.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

Notes
Code of Conduct: Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.

Noise at Properties: NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.

Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Terms and Conditions: Detailed T&Cs apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the T&Cs with your other guests.

Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.

Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.

Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.

Long Stay Discounts: Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

Property Information: Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.

Security Deposit: For most bookings, completion of our registration process and a valid credit card with a $1000 available limit is sufficient for the security deposit. For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit, held in our Trust Account, is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/agent’s discretion.

Peace of Mind: For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Really good facility. All important things were clean. Few things need checking on, like shower drains and bathroom sink drain. Some window locks not working , and exterior needed some work. With a little bit of tlc this is a really good property for family groups and friend groups. Very convenient location, and a quiet area.

Weekend with friends

A cute property, deceiving from the outside, much bigger inside than expected. Comfy beds, lots of heaters and the woodfire made it perfect for us to watch DVDs and chill out. Wood fire outside a bonus. A great location, very quiet area. We loved it!

Good things: excellent comfortable beds, nice electric blankets, great kitchen, excellent gas heater, quiet neighbourhood, nice bathrooms Areas of improvement: second day there, none of the kitchen down lights worked, weren't fixed until next day, of which only three of the seven worked. Also, three of the six living room down lights didn't work. Electrician and us found evidence of rats and rat poo that fell from the ceiling onto the dining table. Rats had eaten through the down lights in both rooms. Floors in the two small bedrooms were filthy and needed vacuuming and cleaning inside the wardrobes and under the wardrobe doors. Ensuite window faces onto neighbours house, neighbours can see guests going to the toilet. Too much junk furniture with "charm, character" in the master bedroom was not relaxing. Nude artworks next to child artwork in master bedroom completely inappropriate in a "family" space. Kitchen tap needs extension faucet because current taps spray everywhere. Small queen bed bedroom electric blankets connected to power board under bed, with cords under the rug is a massive fire hazard. Garage was full of junk, so only one car could be garaged.

Winter Weekend Getaway

The house was in a great location. There was an hour later check in due to extra Covid deep cleaning. However when we arrived there were cobwebs in multiple rooms and dead insects behind the blind. The back door did not close properly. Overall I was disappointed with the cleanliness and security of the property.
