A beautiful location and relaxing house for a break or holiday

We stayed for 2 nights, it was such a well appointed house, easy to find and access. It has everything you need. The location across from the beach is gorgeous, you can walk over the hill for a coffee in Hardys Bay or to the local Surf Club 100 metres away. The doggie beach looked loads of fun. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful NSW location for a much needed break.

Clean and well set up

Enjoyed our time at Killcare. The property was very close to the beach and surf club. It was immaculately clean and provided everything we needed. Will recommend to friends

Gorgeous little beach house

This is a gem of a property equipped with everything you need for a beach side getaway. It was clean and well kept, and had the most amazing views over Killcare Beach. Free wi-fi was amazing as there was no mobile reception for us in this location. I would definitely go back.

Salty Air Beachside

We loved many aspects of the property, especially the view and modern kitchen. The deck was a lovely place to relax. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom was light and spacious. The driveway was impassible because of recent rain. The steps were not stable enough because the concrete on several hand sunk below the wooden framing.

Salty beach house - killcare

Family of 3 and 1 infant. Stayed oct - nov Location is excellent. Across from beach and 1 min walk to surf house. Sound of the ocean is a beautiful to wake up to and go to sleep. Our thoughts on the property: Kitchen and bathroom are renovated. Internally the house is small. 1 bathroom is located below the house in the laundry area. Furniture is mixed. Outside is beach style and lovely but internally the lounge is very old and dated. One bedroom has a musty old wooden cupboard which feels out of place in this location. The house was poorly cleaned. Floors were not washed properly and there was lots of dust under the beds in the room with bunk beds. We were charged an excessive cleaning fee which did not feel fair given how we had received the property. Towels were supplied but no bath mats. We asked for a later checkout and the property manager never got back to us. Overall the location makes this property however it needs some TLC and a furniture update internally. Also must mention that whilst we booked via Stayz platform, and the booking information said that only a partial fee would be charged because the booking was months in advance, the agent charged us the full fee and the bond at day 1. When I called stayz and agent no one could explain the miscommunication. We just left the matter.

Cute 2 bedroom cottage with amazing views

The cottage is right at the beach with amazing views. It is well appointed however to advertise as 2 bathrooms is a stretch as the second (very basic) bathroom is in the laundry under the house - entry via path outside. Probably perfect coming home from A swim at the beach but not ideal in winter. This property would not suit someone with a physical disability- the driveway is grass (which was muddy during our stay) and there are stairs up the hill to door. We could not find outside path lighting so a little tricky at night. We enjoyed our relaxing family weekend - and being located on a no thru road we only woke to the sound of surf.

Lovely Property, nice location and views

Could do with a little maintenance,Fly screens, bathroom rails, toilet roll holders, in need of repairs. Kept falling apart. We had issues with the water (maintenance work and then dirty/muddy water ) which spoilt it a little bit, but couldn't be helped I suppose. A shame when you are only there for the weekend, it took a chunk out of the weekend. Couldn't shower and go out after we had been to the beach. Overall nice.

Thanks for taking time out to right a review, however extremely disappointed regarding your review. The water was completely out our control as it was a council matter. I have passed on the minor maintenance issues you mentioned to be repaired.

A comfortable house for our family of four plus two grandparents that was roomy and clean. The linens provided were of good quality and the kitchen was great. We really enjoyed our stay because the house was great, the location perfect, and the booking process seamless. Thank you!

Excellent property & location

We had a memorable stay at Salty Air Beachside cottage. Our weekend went way too fast with so much to do and see. This cottage is perfectly located to beaches and National Park. The house is clean and had all that we needed. Great value for money and we will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you

Great location. Simple accommodation.

Simple, tidy accommodation with a great beach view and everything you need for an easy beach getaway. The house is well equipped. Only issue was the BBQ was out of action at the time of our stay.
