Sunny, fresh, clean beach getaway with stunning sea and island views. Only 70 meters to Puriri Rd Beach/800m to all tide Boat Ramp/1.5kms to Heards Bay Beach and 8kms from Coromandel Township. With unlimited Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, fish filleting area and bait freezer this is your perfect holiday getaway.


This 4 bedroom home is the perfect spot for that family, fishing holiday or getaway for couples and friends. With an elevated aspect in a peaceful location, this really is the ideal place to escape and get away from it all.

Sliding doors open up off the lounge to a large deck overlooking the beautiful blue waters of the Coromandel Harbour and to the beach below which is only a 2 minute walk from your door. It has a raised sandy area ideal for the young ones, complete with home-made rope swings.

Master bedroom upstairs is complimented with en-suite. The 3 bedrooms on the ground floor have a roomy bathroom with separate toilet. This independent setup downstairs is perfect for privacy amongst guests.
There is an extra set of bunk beds in the spacious laundry area, they are not dedicated to a private bedroom.

There is unlimited internet and a BBQ on the deck for your use. Undercover parking is available for your car or boat. There is a UV water filtration system for your enjoyment of pure, clean safe water.
For the fishing enthusiast there is a fish filleting table and bait/fish freezer. The all tide boat ramp is just 800 meters down the road, this launching point is very close to the ever popular Mussel Farm areas. Safe swimming Heards Bay Beach is also just around the corner!

Winter travellers will enjoy the downstairs wood burner that heats the entire house from the flue that runs right up through the upstairs level.
For the birdwatching followers, you will enjoy the abundance of bird life in the area.

We are on tank water only so please conserve water for following guests. No washing of cars or boats is permitted however we do appreciate you may wish to flush through your outboard motor.
This property is on septic tank. Only toilet paper to be flushed, no sanitary items or baby wipes.

**** Please note there are internal and external stairs that do not have gates/baby gates on them for the young ones. There are also areas on the back deck/walkway areas where children can climb through the railings if not supervised.

Location is nice and quiet.

Great place to stay, carport is perfect for keeping the boat dry overnight and has a good fish filleting facility. As expected, the water volume isn't the greatest so makes flushing your outboard a little challenging. Plenty of board games to keep the kids entertained. Will defiantly be back.

This property was everything it says on the tin, and more. Perfect deck for the views and the house was very well supplied - even down to the egg cups! Quiet, beautiful and the perfect getaway for the weekend!

Cosy winter family gathering

Overall a great house with stunning views in a lovely location. Could do with an upgrade of beds and pillows though…. Roll together and pillows lumpy, and 3 elements of the stove didn’t work.

Fantastic base for a fishing holiday. House was awesome, property manager was terrific, location is great. Only problem, Bookabach booking system was a nightmare and I wasted hours trying to sort payment with them. Yes, book the place, No, don't do it through Bookabach.

We had a wonderful stay. The bach is well equipped and clean and the views were to die for! I would probably suggest looking at replacing the mattresses and pillows particularly in the downstairs rooms over time. Fishing was great as promised- thank you for sharing your bach with us

Fabulous views, be very organised foodwise

Beautiful environment. Nice bach, good feeling about it. The roads of coromandel peninsula are pretty winding which demands more focus and time to travel. It’s hard not to be distracted by the stunning views as you drive along. Be organised with your food planning if you don’t dine out as you will have to drive to shops in Coromandel. Well worth staying there otherwise!

Great view, older batch but nicely renovated

Its a bit of a hike from thames to coromandle...quite windy trip but worth it when you get there. House was good and well equipped with everythjng needed. Nice new balcony with glass balustrade. Good quality wifi to watch the all blacks beat ireland!! Great area at back for filleting fish, yes we caught heaps!!. Thanks for letting us stay

Great views

A comfortable, well set up property, strolling distance to beach and the wharf. The view over the water was spectacular! We also had a view over to the next door neighbours campervan which was parked across the roadside (permanently?) almost directly in front of our house. We probably didn't use the deck as much as we would have because of that, just being concious of the other people so close.

A serene and relaxing getaway

Such a lovely spot. Very quiet and relaxing. Stunning views from the house. It was so clean and tidy and gas everything you need. The only downsides are the constant mosquitoes and bugs in the evening/ night. It would have been great to have some plug in bug repellants in the house. It would have been good to have a double bunk bed in the 4 th room to accommodate another couple. The beds aren’t very comfortable and the stove could do with an update as the front left stove element doesn’t work and the oven was very weak and slow to heat up. If these few minor things were remedied, it would be absolutely perfect! Would definitely stay again!
