Cocineros estuario de escape - Frente al mar en su puerta

Este es verdaderamente un lugar tranquilo para disfrutar de sus vacaciones con familiares y amigos. Un nuevo hogar que está bien equipado para alojar cómodamente a dos familias (o diez adultos) y espacio adicional para más personas según sea necesario. Un diseño cuidadoso y una fantástica área de socialización con flujo interior / exterior hacia la costa del estuario aseguran que su tiempo con nosotros sea fácil y agradable. Patios en todos los lados de la casa le permiten disfrutar del sol durante todo el día. El garaje está completamente aislado y alfombrado para agregar un área adicional para dormir si es necesario. An exceptional family holiday

We had a wonderful stay in a fantastic location, we loved that it was child and pet friendly house. There was so much to do and experience in the area, we’d definitely go back.

Absolutely lovely

The property was just as listed and the owner was kind, helpful and responsive. Watching the birds in the estuary every morning was so peaceful and then it was just a short walk to Cooks beach or a short drive to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.

Beautiful place to stay in front of the sea

We all loved the place and enjoyed the kayak at the front of the house. We will definitely come back again to stay longer.

It was a nice and clean stay

Liked the property. Some towels and few items like milk would have been nicer to have in the fridge. especially when travelling with little ones, given there are no grocery places near by.

Only very small issue... need more oven trays/racks.. if you had 10 people wouldn't be all that easy..(take some just in case). other than that exceptional in every other detail... from start to finish... even with a bit of crap weather at the beginning! Still plenty to do.. games garlor.Thanks heaps Tracy awesome host!

Tranquility

We loved our stay. The home location was fantastic, overall the stay was amazing. The beds were not the most comfortable nor were the pillows. The owners don’t provide bath towels. In their defense they did mention this in the overall comments, but we did not read this until we were already at the property as this isn’t common, it caught us off guard. They also did not make the beds, they provided linen, but we had to make our beds. We only stayed one night, we felt this home would be idea for an extended stay, or for locals who can bring their own towels and better pillows to create a much better stay. Overall the home was great. We loved the location and the settings. The communication was great, the information was provided on a timely manner.

Peaceful break

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely estuary home. The views were beautiful, beds were comfortable and we appreciated the pet-friendly policy. As a baker, I'd suggest adding a hand mixer or egg beater, and kitchen scales with working batteries. Small shower gels would be a nice touch, as they're common in similar accommodations. The riverstone path at the entrance is a bit challenging for elderly guests. Despite these minor points, our stay was delightful and we'd recommend this accommodation.

Great house with amazing location. Loved having the option of kayak, paddle board even shovels for Hot Water beach. Worked well for our family. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful relaxing escapade

We had a great stay here. Fantastic location to nearby hotspots whitianga, hahei, hot water beach. Host Tracey is super helpful and responsive. Home is very well equipped (bring own bath towels and toiletries) with peaceful surroundings.

Amazing holiday home

Amazing holiday home, with beautiful views of the water. So much grass out the front for the kids to play and a very short walk to a playground, as well as walking along the estuary to the beach. House has everything you need with so much space, and was so clean and tidy, was lovely to walk in to. Kayaks were an added bonus, were excellent condition and was so much fun to paddle out from the house. Garage was great for storage for our bikes and prams too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful house, we will definitely be back!

best holiday home at Cooks Beach in last 5years

its been our tradition to come to Cooks beach every Waitangi weekend in last 5 years. And honestly, this house is the best among houses we rented. it has everything we needed and pleanty of pleasant extras. House feels new, very clean and tidy. we had 10ppl group and had pleanty of space. Location is superb - beautiful scenery, quite and peaceful. big lawn for kids to run around and play sports. Kayaks were included in our stay and it was so easy and simple just take it across the lawn to the water and take an amazing trip down the stream, explore mangroves, watch fish and just enjoy the summer. all life jackets for kids and adults provided. heaps of different sport and board games for all ages. house has spacious floorplan, very comfy beds, bedrooms have good soundproofing, not that much noise when kids are in the living room. Tv room have a door and is separated from the living space. Not much shade outside in the morning, but afternoons were just a pure pleasure we will definitely be back!

Great location

This was our second time staying at this property. It is a great house for families and the estuary lends itself well to children during both high and low tides. We did feel however that the quantity of kitchen and laundry powders, toilet paper, lack of tea towels and hand towels was not reflected in the nightly price. There was nothing to clean up spills with, other than our own towels, and we had to buy extra supplies to see us through our 7 nights as we were only given enough for 2 - 3 days. Not great considering the price you pay. The stretchers that were pictured were not at the Bach on arrival so we had to come up with another plan. Other than that it was good, but not as great as the last time we stayed.

Family Wedding Celebration

Lovely, modern and spacious house. Perfect location to enjoy the Estuary and walk to beach. Also very handy to Mercury Ridge, our wedding venue. Big open sliding doors in living area to help with the particularly hots days while we were there. ( it was very hot.) Fans also provided in each room to help with the very warm evening temperature. Cooks beach a great location to get away.

Really wonderful holiday

We loved all of it. Great house in supreme location. Perfect for family of 5 + 1 young dog. Lots of swimming, walking, paddling and cooking together:)
