2 good and 2 not-so-good features

2 good: A. Quiet, safe neighborhood close to shopping and freeway. B. Adequate space with clean kitchen and air conditioner that worked well during heat wave. 2 opportunities for improvement: A. Stained and dirty carpet and walls. B. Quirky with odd decor and furnishings, all lights containing only half of bulbs, lots of glow in the dark stickers on walls and ceiling of master suite and stickers in walls in nearly every room, no linens matched (bed and bath), broken toilet seat repaired with duct tape. Perhaps this is a work in progress.

Travelers BEWARE! Calling this a PIT Pad is 100% accurate! The worst Vebo experience EVER!

* If you like decor that is 1800 Victorian mixed with Life's a Beach!, this place if for you! * If you like a pet friendly place that has pet stains all over the carpet and is dirty, this place is for you! (Luckily, Old Navy is close by, so we could be flip flops on sale so our feet didn't have to touch any of the floors) * If you like rickety, falling apart furniture, this place is for you! * If you like a dirty, run down property that isn't maintained, this place is for you! * If you like a Vrbo property that has NO amenities besides being told you can use any condiments others have left and old Halloween candy, this place if for you! * If you like to have an overgrown yard that isn't maintained and you have to mow yourselves, this place if for you! * If you don't expect nice outside furniture or a grill, this place is for you! * If you like stained, unmatched bedding on your beds, this place is for you! * If you like doors that have so much wood rot around them that you see the light around them, this place is for you! * If you like to complain to the host because of the dirtiness of the property and NEVER get a response or a refund of even half the amount of the stay, this place is for you! * If you like being on the phone with Vrbo Customer Service and get NO service or help because the pics and prior comments indicated a 5 star, this place if for you! * The only good thing I can say about this place is the location was good.

Awfull

It was a pit.heating and air conditioning did not work. Bottom sheet was terrible. Spots on carpet where I’m sure dogs had accidents. A lot of rugs to cover spots.Two couches were in bad shape. Left 4 days early could not take the heat. Night before we left she was going to bring someone in to order parts for air conditioning.She bought two new chairs to sit on out in front night before we left. The two out there before were gross to sit on.I would not recommend Vbro to anyone.She did do one thing she got better tv for us.advertised a garage but really did not want us to use it. Advertised fireplace did not work

Great family home and area

This is a good family home in fantastic area. Cute and safe family neighborhood. Tons of restaurants and shopping just out the back of the neighborhood. Very convenient to Randolph AFB. The owner was attentive without being overbearing. She was extremely accommodative to any questions and when we needed anything!

This was a nice and quiet property in a quiet neighborhood. It was slightly dated, but that doesn't bother us in the least - all we did there was sleep and eat a couple of times. Neighborhood was quiet. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard because the grass was pretty tall. Other than that, like I said, it was a nice property.

This property was very clean and neat. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful. Certainly will stay there again on any return trips.
