"Banyan" est un terme de la Royal Navy qui signifie une courte période de repos et de détente et sera le choix parfait pour votre prochaine escapade en famille! Cette propriété familiale est située à quelques pas du Wests Diggers Club, à quelques pas de Little Beach et du quartier central des affaires de Nelson Bay, où vous trouverez des cafés et des restaurants, des boutiques et des lieux où vous pourrez admirer un beau coucher de soleil ou nager à la plage. La même distance que l’autre direction vous mènera à Shoal Bay où vous trouverez plus de cafés, restaurants et boutiques ou, si vous aimez le plein air, profitez des sentiers de randonnée à proximité, des pistes cyclables ou promenez-vous dans la spectaculaire pointe Tomaree.

Récemment rénové pour inclure tous les conforts de créatures qui contribueront à rendre vos prochaines vacances aussi confortable que possible. Doté d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, d'un salon / salle à manger climatisé, de grands balcons et d'un jardin pour que vous puissiez emmener le chien ou le chat avec vous, cet établissement accepte également les animaux domestiques. The handrail on the back balcony and stairs leading to the backyard were rusty and looked dangerous. They definitely didn't feel safe.The fan in the second bedroom was dangerously oscillating when in function. The bed board on the king size bed was broken.The pedestal fan in the bunk bed room was not working.There was nowhere to unpack clothes only hanging space in the wardrobe no shelves which was very inconvenient had to bring a dining chair in the bedroom to place my clothes. Overall, with the fact that you have to make your own beds and all the defects i would definitely NOT make another booking at this property l, not worth the money. I do not recommend, there are hundreds of other properties that provide much better value and service.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all guest comments seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond. Regarding the balcony handrail and stairs, while the railings are older, they are structurally sound and meet safety requirements. We regularly inspect the property to ensure guest safety. The ceiling fan in the second bedroom has since been replaced. Although older fans can sometimes appear to oscillate unevenly when operating, this was addressed after your stay for aesthetic reasons and to improve guest comfort. We were not made aware during your stay that the pedestal fan in the bunk room was not working. Had this been reported at the time, we would have gladly provided a replacement immediately to ensure your comfort. The bed board on the king-size bed has been inspected and repaired following your feedback. With regard to linen and bed making, our listing clearly states that linen is not supplied and that guests are required to bring their own and make the beds. We are sorry to hear that the storage layout in the wardrobe did not suit your needs. Thank you again for your feedback. McGrath Port Stephens

Very comfortable house with good amenities. Only real issue we had was the barbecue was unusable, old and dirty. Airconditioning needs the fan speed to increase as it struggles on a hot day. Wi Fi was not the best. Would definitely stay there again W

Spacious house

House is nice and spacious, and we loved that we could bring our dog :) Our favourite parts: - lots of space, would be fine for a couple of families together with kids. House was probably a bit too big for just the 3 of us and our dog :) - that it was dog friendly - only a few minutes drive to the town centre, the sea, all attractions and local supermarket - dining room has a beautiful outlook with lots of trees and sunset colours - the listing stays that you have to provide your own dishwashing liquid, laundry powder etc. so we expected that, but didn't actually need to have worried as the estate agent provided samples of everything including a sponge, instant coffee, tea bags, sugar sachets.. and there were also some staples in the pantry. Also had some board games, puzzles, lots of books and DVDs. - a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are always appreciated. TVs in the living room and in 2 of the bedrooms. Negatives: - the first 2 pictures on the listing are misleading as the beachfront is a 15min walk. Seeing the pics (it doesn't say "location shot" like other pics I expected the sea to be closer). - cleaning wasn't great, we found hair in the bathroom, cobwebs on the ceiling and a spider in the bedroom. We hired the linen for $60 for 2 beds (it is provided in a bag and you have to make your own beds with it) but seeing the colour and state of the pillows, mattresses and mattress protectors that had many stains, I wished we'd brought our own pillows at least! - house was cold, even with all of their little provided fan heaters on, we couldn't warm it up enough to feel cosy. It is the middle of winter though. - backyard is hard to access as long staircase so not ideal for our dog who has a sore leg, our toddler, or even myself who is heavily pregnant. We ended up taking our dog to the street instead to pee, to avoid the stairs and didn't use the backyard.

Our home away from home!

We have returned to this house several times over the years. It has a very comfortable openness to it. Definitely highly recommended for short or longer stay. Pet friendly which our dogs just love.

A surprise

The property is close to shops and amenities its very centrally located. However the back yard is not particularly pet friendly . Very steep steps at the back a bit treacherous. Hole in the fence and needs rubbish removing. Not for small dog.

Excellent accommodation

The property was excellent, especially for a family, as is fairly large. Lovely location, especially for walking everywhere. There were issues with door locks which got sorted after arrival, as did heating which was necessary. Highly recommend this property!

Relaxing Holiday

Our family enjoyed the tree top views from the beautiful sunny aspect of the dining area. Spacious living areas and a good working kitchen. The location is convenient. The very long and steep stairs to access backyard for pooch is problematic for the elderly or infirm.

Hi 👋 My Wife and I plus 4 Grandchildren +1 spoilt Shihtzu have just spent 4 loverly nights. Must say the house was great 👍,spacious,well appointed and great value for money.would highly recommended. If there was 1 down side for elderly folk like us the climb up from the back yard was hard work 😓 after taking our Taffy to the toilet 🚽.the bedding and decor and facilities were great

Comfortable, pet friendly house

This is a great house for a family holiday, in a good location. A 10 min walk to Little Beach and very short drive to Nelson Bay, Bagnalls dog beach, Shoal Bay etc. The only down sides from our point of view were: a. the garden is down a long set of steps which were not safe for our toddler and our elderly large dog would not walk down them. b. the cleaners seemed very poor quality. The house had a lot of dust in the corners when we arrived and I needed to re-clean the surfaces. We had special permission to have our dog inside and when we left we got a call from the real estate wanting to charge us more for cleaning. We had left the place spotless except for a little dog hair which could easily be removed with a professional quality vacuum cleaner (this was resolved when I spoke with the staff at O'Meary Real Estate). So, overall we'd recommend it, but if it's dirty when you get there call the real estate and get them to send the cleaners back out.

Very good value property

Roomy and very secure property in quiet street with water glimpses. Very well eqipped with kitchen utensils, condiments etc. Only major problem was the real estate agency handling the booking who insisted on a 2% credit card surcharge but did not allow a direct bank transfer for payment and arriving late to find 2 empty gas bottles for the barbeque on the first night with a note saying replace at Bunnings! Not impressed!
