Overall, the apartment was very quiet and a great location to stay, close to subway and several restaurants and convenient stores. However, the bed was listed as "queen" size but was actually only a "full" size bed. (We measured it, and a queen should be 60X80, but this bed was 54X75, which made sleeping tight and my feet hung off the end with head touching the headboard, which they don't do on a proper queen bed, as I am 77 inches tall.) The small bed was why I lowered the review, because I specifically searched for a queen size bed and don't like being misled.
The radiator next to the bed hissed a lot during the night, which kept me awake but didn't bother my wife. Other than that, there was almost zero outside noise in the apartment, which was surprising for Manhattan.
Entry and exit was very convenient with touchpads rather than keys.
I would suggest that the owner make a sweep through the apartment for lights that don't work, loose fixtures, and similar small maintenance items, because we noticed several nonworking lights and loose handles, etc.
I would definitely rent this apartment again if travelling without my wife, but unless it is upgraded to a queen, the bed size wouldn't permit us to travel together to this apartment.
