Welcome to Snowgums On The Lake!

Located in Tyrolean Village on the water's edge, Snowgums on the Lake enjoys stunning views over both Lake Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains. The cosy fireplace on the ground floor is a great place to share stories in winter and the convenient lake access in summer will keep all entertained. With air conditioning on the ground level this property is terrific in all seasons!

This 2 storey, spacious, standalone property sleeps up to 10 people. Ideal for 2 families wishing to share their holiday experience or a large family with older children who like their own space. The 2 separate designated living areas will be appealing to all ages.

Snowgums on the Lake has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (including laundry facilities in each) 2 kitchens, 2 living areas, and a large balcony overlooking the lake. This home-away from home is only 5 minutes' drive from the main shops of Jindabyne and another 30 minutes' drive to Perisher or Thredbo.

Gorgeous authentic cabin

The property was really relaxing and peaceful.We really wish there were extra blankets or roll away heaters for the bedroom’s especially upstairs.A few things didn’t work but the house was authentic with lots of character.

Wonderful location, but without the wood fire a very cold house, with no electric blankets on offer and very few necessities.

Great location, diluted by a lack of attention and care

We have stayed here before and loved it. However, last time we stayed there were oil heaters in all but one room and we were warm enough. However this time the oil heater were gone and the bedding was nowhere near sufficient without. We were extremely cold and forced to sleep in thermals and big jumpers. We were also disappointed with the cleaning this time around. There were ants throughout the kitchen and in the kettle and a general lack of attention paid to the cleaning through the house. I shared this feedback with the accommodation manager after our stay and was told they have heard the feedback re the heat several times before and scolded us for not calling earlier, however after a big day of skiing, calling to complain and potentially have someone access the property and disrupt our stay to assess the issues wasn’t high on our to do list. Gorgeous views from the house but we probably won’t be back.

Wooden house with lake view

Great location with view to the lake, wooden architecture so you feel you are out of city in a bush/mountain style house, 2 separate levels with 2 kitchens and laundries, make it easier to manage 2 groups.

A beautiful view and everything you need

The house is in a beautiful location and is stocked with everything you need for a lovely weekend away, including DVDs. Russian Ark was a must see.
