Over all a great property. just a suggestion, get a double bowl kitchen sink. also make known that there is an axe in the linen cupboard.

Fantastic views and location. The perfect, simple home to use as a base for all sorts of adventures. It had everything we needed, instructions for everything were simple and clear. We had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Cosy stay in a suburban area about 10 minutes drive from Jindabyne. The home is a little dated but very warm with lots of heaters and a wood burner. The kitchen equipment is old so we were glad we brought our own knife but wished we'd brought a frying pan too. We stayed for a ski trip and chose this place largely because it was cheaper than others in Jindabyne during an expensive school holiday period. We didn't expect luxury so we were happy for the price. Be careful drying your ski gear on the fence by the fire, it's fine for hats etc but we destroyed two pairs of goggles that got too hot!

Awesome cozy place

Stayed for a week with my partner and friends to go skiing at Perisher. Great communication with the owner, awesome place to stay, great price for what you get, nice cozy vibe, definitely stay here again next time I ski at Perisher.

Easy access to activities

We didn't have much idea what we were going to do in summer in the Snowy mountains. The information found in the property was very helpful. We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness. It was a bit hot in the evening and we were wishing for aircon, but the cool air dealt with that promptly. Great stay overall!

Great weekend family getaway

Overall beautiful location great for a small family the kids will really enjoy it. The fireplace was easy to manage and firewood supply ample. Plenty of space outside for kids to play.

Ski holiday

We were very happy with the accommodation for our family’s ski holiday. It was cosy, clean and comfortable - much nicer than staying in a hotel or motel.

very clean and comfortable, well supplied. However, woodburner very difficult to light, filled the room with smoke. No oven gloves provided, burnt fingers using tea-towel.

Family ski trip - 3rd time staying here

Repeat booking speaks for itself. Property has everything you need for a great holiday. Well stocked kitchen equip. Plenty of linen & firewood provided. Lovely quiet location and the view of the lake never gets old. Great value for money.

Best holiday ever and the cottage was lovely

The views and setting were so beautiful. We had the best time and the house had everything we needed. Settled in each night with the cosy fireplace. If we can work the holidays we’ll be back. Just loved it!

Home away from home

The cottage is very cozy and warm and has all the amenities you need, especially for a family. Its the small things that make it so warm and inviting, we loved the games! Much better than being in a hotel room, we would definetly stay again and recommend to friends and family. Has a beautiful view of the lake and is so quiet and peaceful.

Best holiday ever!

Not enough can be said for the wonderful experience. The owners were second to none the nicest people to deal with, very accommodating and friendly. The house beat expectations, fully stocked with everything you need and some extras like board games that gave us hours of family fun. Though bitterly cold outside, the house was always warm and cosy with heaters and fireplace. But the view! The view was by far the best experience. Far better than we expected. View from the balcony of Jindabyne lake and the mountains, each weather condition gave a new aspect of the view. It was by far one of oir most favourite holidays yet.

Family Experiences

Handy location away from the crowds yet easy access to shops. Very comfortable and highly suitable for a large family. Cooking facilities adequate and saves heaps with ravenous teenagers. Plenty of games to keep the family occupied during inclement weather.

We are a family of 7 ( yeah a tribe !!) who all love skiing and the mountains.
All kids started skiing at 2-3 yrs old at Perisher & Blue Cow. Eldest daughter progressed to be a ski instructor in Perisher for 2 seasons and 2 seasons in Steamboat, Colorado. Most of the kids have skied NZ, USA, Canada, & Japan, and still love our Snowy mountains. We also really enjoy summer by the lake and are blessed to have our little cottage by the lake and share it with our guests, many of whom have become friends.
