Beachfront house on Long Island Sound

Waterfront house with a private beach overlooking Long Island Sound waters in a quiet residential area.

Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with newly installed dishwasher and gas range, dining area with dining table that sits 8, and cozy living room with leather sofas and 55” TV.

Relax on the fully furnished, oversized patio/deck that has plenty of sitting spots and another dining table that fits 10.

Take long walks on the beach or stride on the Silver Sand boardwalk that starts steps away from the house and is overlooking Silver Sands park .

Barbecue on the deck using either gas or wood grill (both are available).

Dine at the excellent Greek Spot Cafe & Grill just 3 min walk from the house. Many more cafes, restaurants, and bars are in the town, short drive away.

Metro North is 6 min drive, 30 min walk or a short bus ride from the house. The train gets to Grand Central in under 100 minutes.

Two dedicated working desks for remote work or study. One of the desks is height-adjustable with 30" ultra-wide curved monitor.

One of the bedrooms is on the first floor and is accessible without climbing stairs.

And, all the windows have either shades or curtains, or both despite what is shown on some of the pictures.

During the hot summer months, we provide window ACs in all the bedrooms.

We allow dogs , but no cats (allergies). Owners must watch them at all times and follow local policies. There is also a $50 additional cleaning fee.
Regular trash - IN BAGS - BLACK BIN outside. Recycling - NO BAGS - GREEN BINS outside. Each misplaced bag : $50 Each messed up bin: $200

Nice getaway even for a short va-cay

Everyone had a nice time. Accommodations were great, neighbors were great, and beach was nice. 3-nights is just about right. Could use some more comfortable seating in the family room but that is a minor complaint. Thanks

Perfect weekend getaway

My family and I loved this beach home. We spent a lot of our time walking from the back deck down to the beach. We made s’mores in the fire pit at night. The house was spotless. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Super easy check in. 5 stars

Lovely Home!

This property was excellent! It was clean, well stocked with necessities, and exactly as presented on the listing. The private beach is a dream with beautiful views and the home comes with comfy chairs/seating to enjoy the backyard. A ten minute drive away we found many restaurants and shops. Just a few minutes away is downtown Milford which was quaint and charming! We hope to stay in this home again soon!

Clean & well-equipped beach house

This beach house is on a lovely sandy beach which is enough for me! But it has so much more - Large, solidly built back deck overlooking the sound. It’s partially covered with plenty of seating and a dining table, so a great extension to the home where you can eat or just sit and chat. - The kitchen has plenty of utensils, tableware, cups and mugs, mixing and serving bowls, pans and cutting boards, dish soap, paper towels, hot mitts. - We cooked and baked using the nice gas stove, and kept takeout from the Greek Spot (delicious and convenient — highly recommend this local restaurant!) warm in the oven. - The fridge/freezer and dishwasher are clean, working well and big enough for families. Coffee maker works well. - The two inside bathrooms were very clean and nice-sized with plenty of TP, soap, and hooks. We didn’t use the outside shower but if it had been hotter weather we would have. Love those! - Large inside and outside tables and plenty of available seating. - Little extras like the device charger for multiple makes and electric broom/vac, night light in bathroom, hangers, - Beds were made with clean, soft sheets, quilts and bedspreads. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Supportive and comfortable mattresses! Bedroom window AC units worked. This beach house has vintage charm and coziness while feeling open with big windows, we enjoyed it even when it rained! We hope to stay here again when visiting our family in the area.

Honestly I am afraid to tell people how wonderful this rental is… for fear it will be booked all the time. A relaxing and amazing restful beach vacation. The house is so well equipped you immediately feel like you are home.

The Perfect Low-Key Vacation!

We can not say enough good things about this Milford property. It is exactly like the pictures--perfect amount of space for a small family or an extended family vacation. Beautiful, quiet location. The beach set-up is ideal for small children. Such great communication from Dmitry. My kids loved finding all the shells and hermit crabs and horseshoe crabs. And the neighbors are so friendly. If you're looking for a good getaway, we highly recommend this!

One of the best vacations I have ever had!

It was the perfect experience! Communication was amazing! Anything we needed they responded right away! Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing! We stayed 7 days and asked for longer, but they were already booked! That’s how much we loved it! We plan on going as many times as we can! Everything is provided and it has amazing activities outside, and fun games/entertainment inside! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful View

We loved being right on the beach and our daily walks out to the island during low tide walking on millions of shells. It was cool and windy in April of course but the partially covered porch was a nice place to soak up some sun while staying out of the wind. The hosts provided all of the basics including a well stocked kitchen. We were able to visit the PEZ factory, some local breweries, get some fresh seafood and get our horseback riding trip in. Couldn't have asked for more for a 3 day weekend.

Our favorite New England beach

Beautiful property. Clean and as described. Lovely house right on the perfect stretch of beach with a large deck and plenty of seating. Soft sand and wonderful for kids who like to explore low tides. Our stay included my parents, children, and sister and we all had plenty of room. Owners were very responsive. Location is near plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and more. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy AND Roomy!

This is a great house with plenty of rooms for everyone but somehow seamlessly manages to be cozy! We were here in the winter and the little electronic fireplace below the big screen TV was the perfect way to end an evening after a windswept walk on the beach. I look forward to going back!

Great beach vacation!

We had a great time at Dmitry's home. The house was very clean and has everything you need for a beach vacation. My 2 year-old son loved that we were right on the beach so he could run in and out of the water, plan in the sand, and then run inside for a snack without leaving the home! Close to restaurants and boardwalk, fantastic water park and playground for kids nearby. This is a great find and we would definitely return.

The perfect beach vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beach house this past week. Upon arrival, everything was clean and exactly as described, with even more amenities than listed. The outside shower and large deck with an awesome sectional sofa were definite bonuses. Our son quickly discovered the keyboard and was thrilled to sit down and play all week long... The updates to the house are very tasteful, and added to the overall comfort . Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and very well equipped! Our favorite part of this vacation was being RIGHT on the beach... a private beach ! The house is very private as it sits back from the other larger homes nearby. Street parking was not a problem at all. Shopping for groceries and spirits was very convenient ( Aldi & Stop and shop within a couple minutes drive). Even a rainy day was wonderful sitting inside playing games all day. We were excited to leave a more detailed review, and sincerely hope to return again for another nice family vacation.
