Mareazul is a first world vacation rental concept "Resort Living". Located only 3 km from Playa del Carmen all units are beach accessible.
Mareazul Resort has a huge Infinity pool, with Jacuzzi sections, and is less than 200 meters walk through green path walks and pools that would take you to Mareazul beach.
The resort amenities are among others *Gym with dressing and lockers area, *massage rooms, Zen zone areas to read and relax, Lobby, convenience store, concierge front desk, just a short walk to an 18 Holes Golf Course designed by Nick Price, (additional cost). Massive open spaces for walking and exercise all around the resorts.

Beautiful tropical paradise

This vrbo was so beautiful inside and outside. My only complaint is i didn’t have enough time there. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience was good, but the one thing I would rather have known before was that the pool was extremely shallow. And also, listing led me to believe that it was a corner lot when, in fact, is right next door to a corner, the pictures were not accurate on that aspect.

Mareazul 2 week stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 2 weeks at the Mareazul complex and had a wonderful stay. The proximity to the beautiful beach was great, despite the seaweed on occasion, but of course this is out of anyones control. The grounds were fantastic, always well manicured and the oversize pool provided tons of options of where to spend an afternoon.The check-in process was fast and easy and the availability to our representative who provided us with our random requests was certainly above what we expected, and we were very grateful for this.As far as the condo is concerned, it was clean, well furnished and very spacious for 6 people. The only two negative elements that could use some attention, are the Bosch cooktop which was very challenging to use (as it was clearly having some electrical issues) but we managed to cook regardless. And secondly was the sub-par internet connection in the condo, as it would come and go, making it very difficult to get any remote work done in a timely manner.Aside from that, I would most definitely return to this resort complex in the future.

La zona de piscina es super espaciosa, ideal para descansar, facil acceso a la playa con comodidades como camastros y sombrillas. 2 Bares donde almorzar o tomarse un trago. A solo 10 min. de la 5ta. Es mi segunda vez hospedada alli y volveria sin dudarlo ! Claudia, la chica que me atendió muy amable atenta y paciente!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place looked amazing but it was a ten minute drive to Playa Del Carmen's famous 5ta Avenida. I stayed here with my family and decided to pay a little more to have an apartment all to ourselves. Check in time was 4pm, I've never had to wait until 4Pm to check into a place anywhere I've ever traveled, and I travel quite a bit. The first issue we ran into was that they changed our apartment number before our arrival. We were trying to get into the wrong unit which was the unit we rented because as we remembered from the picture it was a corner unit and it was also on our paperwork. We had to wait to get someone to respond to get the correct unit number, which only took a few minutes but we got an answer. We were still not very thrilled with the fact that we got something different than what was advertised on the pictures. Once we walked in the apartment there was an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. I never saw any mold on any of the walls except the exterior where there seemed to be a leak coming from the apartment above so my guess would be the AC system has to be better maintained. I'm personally very allergic to mold so every time we were in the apartment I had terrible allergies. The second thing we found were dirty dishes in the pantry that were placed under two clean dishes with opened ketchup packages which were growing green mold. I think this could have been overseen by anyone but if your check in is at 4pm and the check out at 10am I would think that they would have enough time to check on all these details. Overall I believe it was a high price to pay for a place that was not up to par with the community standards. We definitely overpaid and would never consider it again :(

March 2019 Stay

What a phenomenal vacation! The apartment was perfect - clean, well-equipped, and in the perfect location. We were able to easily catch a taxi into town, spend time at the beautiful beach or simply lounge in the hammock by our plunge pool. It truly could not have been better!
