About this property

Casa Tortuga Puerto Morelos, Riviera Maya. Two bedroom luxury home.

Luxury home. It was built in January 2018, everything in the house is hotel quality - the mattresses, the bed sheets, towels etc . Big fridge to accommodate your food, comfortable living room, huge countertop/ bar to prepare and enjoy your meals, and spacious nice bathroom. Just 5 min from the beach by car. The “colectivo” (taxi van), that takes you to the beach (50 US cents), passes by just in front of the house. There is a sports field a block away should you feel the need to go for a run etc. There a several local restaurants/eateries within walking distance. Grocery store, ice cream parlor, taco stands and small convenience store also within walking distance. Couple of laundromats within a block. Two big supermarkets are 1-2 min away by car or colectivo. The home is equipped with high quality US/Canada standard hot water tank(not the ones on demand that sometimes work and sometimes don’t) 2 Air Conditionings. Decent water pressure, plenty of lights, internet connection of 10mbps download and upload. Security camera at the front of the house and security door sensors to give you that extra piece of mind. Pets are welcomed at $8.50 per night.
House is regularly fumigated against cockroaches, spiders, scorpions and other insects.
Everything was built and designed with you and your comfort in mind. Will not disappoint.

Great place in a quiet and safe town

The premises have been nicely remodel . It is clean and well maintained. Owners are always available to assist. Public transportation and taxi station few steps from the house.

Great place for extended stay, 7 minutes by taxi from the beach for necessary peace

I love ocean, warm weather and good restaurants. Po. Mo has all the three things. I am so glad I chose this place because of its proximity to the ocean either by taxi ($3 US) or by collectivo (50Cents US). Collectivos come every 5 minutes. They stop right in front of the house and they start their service around 6 am. It is very convenient. I saw many birds like orioles, hummingbirds, doves, great kiskadee, yellow flycatchers on my neighborhood walks. It was really nice to have just enough distance from the party scene and loud music of the beach area while having close proximity to the ocean. It has all the modern amenities and excellent speed for zoom video sessions. I can go on and on about the hospitality, and responsiveness of the hosts Sally and Peter. They both made my stay extremely enjoyable. I will not hesitate to be back whenever stars align for me to be able to travel to Mexico again.

They did a great job with their house, and they are great hosts. If you don't mind being a little ways from the beach you will have a great place to stay at a great price.
