Esta casa de 2 baños (3 personas (máximo 6 personas, máximo 3 coches)) tiene muchos extras. Su vista es mejor que la de algunas casas frente al mar (un telescopio hará que la observación de ballenas y barcos sea divertida para todos). Hay camas Queen Pillow Top Sealy Posturepedic en 2 de sus habitaciones. Las camas gemelas en el otro dormitorio, en la planta baja, se pueden juntar para hacer una cama king (se proporcionan sábanas). La cocina está bien equipada con todo lo necesario para hacer una comida gourmet (nueva gama con superficie lisa, mezclador Kitchen Aid, especias, (4) tostadora, utensilios de cocina aptos para lavavajillas All Clad y molinillo de café). Property is very dated. We had no hot water in one shower. Maintenance person was timely. They could use new towels.

Great house

This is a great house. Great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. However, if I owned this house, I'd be upset by the lack of cleanliness. The owners stay in these homes as well. I wouldn't want to have to clean while I visited my own home. The hosting fee is ridiculous for the level of cleanliness. This is the 3rd home I've stayed in this year that has been dirty. I come often because I have property in South Beach that I'm working on. If the hosting company doesn't do bettet, I'll start my own company and offer deep cleaning to these owners! 3 times now, all dirty. What is the $700.00 hosting fee for, if it's dirty? It's bad business for the owner and the rental company. Dissapointed for myself and the owners.

Disappointing

Entry Code didn't work,lucky there was a electrician there trying to fix lights who give me a number to call. DVD player didn't work, internet went down, so no TV at all or computer. House was very worn and dirty, both showers water run everywhere. Most outdoor lights didn't work.Furniture very uncomfortable to watch TV and not enough sitting. The only thing going for this property was the ocean view.

Location’s About It!

Oh my, where to start? Ok, we give it 1.5/5 stars, but only because it has a great view and location/access to a beach and some decent TV access. It ended there. The -4 stars comes from the condition of the rental and it’s cleanliness, among other things. We get they take pets but this was awful. The photos do not tell the actual condition even closely. Here we go: filthy window tracks, grungy smells inside, filthy carpets, door tracks with framing falling apart, air fans filled with tears of thick dirt, dust and dog fur, no a/c, outdated manual for the stove, a dishwasher top rack that fell off its tracks EVERY TIME we opened it, mismatched kitchen amenities that thankfully we could supplement very dull knives, kitchen cabinets that were barely attached, a knee high microwave that was ready to fall out, a bathroom sink plunger that came out with black gunk all over it, a tub w/meager broken dollar tree kids toys and kites, a garage with rat poop in it and spiders everywhere, and awful mattresses. Be forewarned before booking: this place needs a deep clean and general maintenance. For Meredith: they responded to our requests, but never delivered. Paper towels provided were less than dollar tree sized and absorbent. Be sure and email with questions before booking!

I would not stay here again

This property is old and run down. The entire house needs to be re-floored and the walls in every room need to be painted. There was a squashed bug on the wall when we arrived, one of the beds did not have a blanket, the basement smells musty, one of the mattresses was so old and sunken in the middle it was unusable. I have stayed in a lot of rental homes and I am fine with things being dated but things in this home are dated and run down. For the price that is being charged per night, my expectations for a nicer condition home are reasonable. I complained to Meredith Lodging and in response they offered me $100 credit, which would necessitate me giving them more of my business. No thank you!

Great place for quiet stay

The house was in a great, quiet neighborhood. Beach access is across the street and made fir such an easy time for us especially our seven year old grandson. The home’s accommodations and features were just right!

Not quite what we expected

There were no curtains - so we woke when the sun hit the windows.... 5am. Closet was locked, so there was nowhere to hang our clothing. The microwave was placed below the counter, so it was literally below knee level .

Nice place for a get- away

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful view of the ocean and close enough to town. Very peaceful quiet neighborhood. The layout of the house is great, the appliances are a bit dated but still work good enough. My only criticism would be the condiotion of the pots and pans, we stayed clear of them

Was a great house was in a perfect location and no complaints. Really didn’t use anything that the house had to offer just sleeping and in and out to events. Large enough for a family with no crowding. Nice access to the beach.

Peaceful getaway

We came here with my MIL to celebrate her birthday. Had a relaxing weekend, playing lots of games, cooking, and walking to the beach. The views from the kitchen and dining table are incredible, the walk to the beach was not bad at all, and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house is definitely older and in need of a few updates and there is a musty smell in the basement that comes with being an older home on the coast, I suppose. Overall, it was perfect for our weekend away and we would recommend it.

Great Location!

We had a lovely stay on the coast. The house is situated perfectly. The views of the ocean and sunset were fabulous and we could open the windows at night and hear the ocean. The beach was just steps away and so much fun for playing frisbee, football, and running with the dog. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen decently equipped, although it is time for someone to go through and take note of deficiencies such as missing blender pieces and measuring cups. I feel a 5pm check in time is very late, especially in the winter when arriving in the dark. We requested an earlier arrival and were granted 4pm, which helped. But the management company is a downfall, and seems to take care of a lot of area houses, as displayed by their signage. I'm not sure the actual homeowners have been around in a while. The company clearly doesn't take care of the backyard space, and amenities felt issued. There were very institutional towels, one tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, and the lowest quality of toilet paper, facial tissues, and paper towels.

Comfortable

It was a comfortable place, I was so happy to find a dog friendly home that was close to the beach/ocean. You could see the ocean from the kitchen and the deck, and hear it too! It was about 2 minutes to walk to beach, which was my main goal. It’s not the kind of sand you can lie down on right there, but on same road you could find an access where the sand is dry. Some details would have been nice to know in the online description of the home. When we arrived there were signs posted all over the place that you had to run into and read to know the rules. One reason why I specifically chose the place we did was so my husband could catch and cook fresh crab, this house had a sign posted in the garage on the wall that said “No cooking crab in the house”, my husband’s dreams were dashed! We were not familiar with the area and had no means of doing it elsewhere. My dad ended up spending extra time and money out of his vacation to find and go to another town to purchase a turkey cooker for him, so he could cook crab outside. There are 2 lock boxes, and we worked and worked on the one we found first trying to get the key, meanwhile I tried to contact someone for help, which we never got a response to. Then a friend staying close by came and we were going around looking in windows and waiting to hear back while the men worked on the lock box, and we happened upon another lock box, which turns out was the correct one, there should have been some detailed instructions to let us know. I tried to contact the manager several times from the first day to the last day and never once heard from them. The cleanliness could be better, under the beds for example. The bed we slept in was very uncomfortable. The online description did not say pets were not allowed on furniture, and not knowing that ahead of time made the surprise difficult to follow, although we had come prepared to cover the furniture where our dog would be. We managed, but it’s better to know what to expect. We had a nice time, and our review is just being open and honest. We do want to thank the owners for sharing their special place with us💕 Hope we weren’t too brutal🙃

Wonderful respite with family

We fell in love with Bud & Molly’s getaway. Lovely home - had all of the kitchen tools for cooking, which we did. Had my 92-yr old father join us, and it was just right. Being able to take walks on the beach (the path is only 2-houses down) was very special. Brought our two small doggies, and they loved the backyard and the beach. Would definitely come back. One thing, if you love to have music playing, bring a bluetooth speaker to stream (we did). The Boze is out of date only for CDs. So if you have CDs (we didn’t) you’ll be fine. Beds were comfy. Everything you need is there!
