Loved Shasta Lake

Retreat 01 was a great choice for our family. Had all the amenities that were needed. View of the lake was beautiful. We were there for a big family reunion and had a great time with all the houses that we rented. Perfect setting for our week together.

Loved Retreat 1

We had seven people in our family and this was perfect for us. It’s lakefront. We walked right down to the water very convenient. It was a beautiful location. We hope to come back again.

Amazing as always!

Shasta Lakeshore Retreats never disappoints! Amazing locations, houses and access to the lake. So simple to pack and enjoy, much less stressful than other options in the area. Can’t recommend it enough!

Vacation with family and friends

Absolutely breathtaking!!! Went up with my daughters and friend. Im already planning to go back next year! The wildlife was to die for we saw a white squirrel, bunch of deer, amazing birds along with some cool critters. They have trails down to the water. I would suggest 100% bring water shoes to make getting out easier. There is no shade to keep your dog down there but just for a dip and back to the house. I left with tears of joy in my eyes!! Until next year Lake Shasta!! Thank you for this experience!!!

The house was nicely updated, well stocked and the location was perfect! Owners were super helpful and responsive. Incredibly short drive to Sugarloaf, great covered deck to hang out on when the weather was a little questionable. Couldn’t be happier!

Family Birthday Trip

We stayed at Retreat 1 for our son's birthday. Great location, easy access to water. House was super cute and clean. Nice having master bedroom upstairs and then rest of bedrooms downstairs. Had a great time and Lori and Dave were incredible checking in and answering any questions I had. Definitely will be coming back again. We already booked another of their homes for next weekend.

Fantastic Stay!

What a great place! Exactly as described; the house had everything we needed as we enjoyed a relaxing weekend. The view of the lake was priceless. Great walking distance to the marina to watch the boats and get some ice cream with the kids. Would definitely love to come back and rent a boat next time. Dave & Lori were great and friendly hosts.

Thank you Scott for your kind words. It was our sincere pleasure to host your family and friends...and an added bonus to meet you in person! We appreciate your thoughtful mention of not just our home and the amenities we provide but also your understanding of our lake level dynamics. We try so hard to give our guests clear expectations before they arrive so there are no surprises. As you know and enjoyed, there was great water out there even with our drought. Please keep in touch as we would like nothing more than to have you return making new traditions "on land" and in our home versus house boating 😉

Great place to stay on lake. Nothing else like it. Such a great deck to enjoy meals and view. Full moon while we were there. Great moon rises right over the lake. Perfect views. Easy access to water and marina. Really love this is lace.

Lake front, hot tub, outdoor shower, Bbq, 2 decks with shade, use of kayaks, near boat ramp and boat slip! Don’t forget to nap in the hammock. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to return. Shhh don’t tell anyone about this place so I can rent it again ;)
