The main room on the top floor features a kitchen, dining area, and a living area with large windows and fantastic views. It includes a master bedroom with a queen bed (plus a rollaway in the closet) and a full bathroom. Step onto the larger deck, equipped with everything you need for outdoor enjoyment.

🌅 Lower Floor:
The lower level comprises a bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, a full bathroom, and a family/media room. There are three rollaway beds in the lower bedroom closet. This level leads to the second deck with a spa/hot tub, offering more lake and property views. Please note the steeper stairs and exercise caution, especially with elderly and small children.

We stayed at the lake house for five nights in October. We had everything we needed! The weather was a mix of rain and sun, and on the rainy days we were perfectly happy to stay home and enjoy the views, the wildlife, the hot tub, and the well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the water pressure and nice hot water in the showers. Plenty of space to hang out and play games or watch movies. Our favorite was probably just hanging out on the deck talking and enjoying the view.

We stayed at Retreat 1 for our son's birthday. Great location, easy access to water. House was super cute and clean. Nice having master bedroom upstairs and then rest of bedrooms downstairs. What a great place! Exactly as described; the house had everything we needed as we enjoyed a relaxing weekend. The view of the lake was priceless. Great walking distance to the marina to watch the boats and get some ice cream with the kids. Would definitely love to come back and rent a boat next time. Dave & Lori were great and friendly hosts.

Lake front fun at sugar loaf

Lake front, hot tub, outdoor shower, Bbq, 2 decks with shade, use of kayaks, near boat ramp and boat slip! Don’t forget to nap in the hammock. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to return. Shhh don’t tell anyone about this place so I can rent it again ;)

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
