Meget central beliggenhed med kun en kort gåtur til Cylinder Beach, Hotel, butikker og restauranter. Funktioner: 3 soveværelser (2 dronninger, 2 singler), separat toilet, vaskemaskine i front, vaskemaskine, opvaskemaskine, mikroovn, farve-tv, DVD, CD-afspiller, udendørs bruser, fileteringsbord, gas-grill og træ-grill.

Dette lave sæt er kun få minutters gang til butikker, strande, offentlig transport og Straddie Hotel og er fuldt indhegnet - perfekt til børn eller kæledyr.

Loved this property. Sunshine kept this bungalow warm into the cold winters night. Doggo loved the grassy yard. A bonus seeing was the ocean glimpses and whale spouts. Had everything we needed and a great hot shower.

Loved our stay at Alicante

The beds were comfy The kitchen was well equiped (including a Nespresso machine). And we were surprised to discover the property offered ocean glimpses. We even spotted the odd whale. The fully fenced yard was well maintained and offered plenty of space for our doggo to run round. The location is terrific - an easy walk to Cylinder Beach, The Beach Hotel and local supermarket.

Great location, tired house

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at this house many times. It’s in an awesome spot and great for the dogs. However on this occasion there were a few issues. It needs some attention paid not just money in but also money out. The grass was super long when we arrived which was a Saturday so I had to wait till Monday to request a mow and spent the whole weekend picking grass seeds out of my dogs fur. The fridge is old (and door hinged wrong way -could be swapped) and didn’t keep temperature for all the food we had so we had to throw away quite a bit. Then the septic drain backed up which was cleared after a few calls to the office and a day of waiting but the terrible smelll persisted along the kitchen / laundry / twin bed side of the house so we had to keep those windows shut = no breeze.

The kitchen was well-equipped, the furniture was right for a beach house, and it had a generally pleasant feel. The price for five nights was quite steep as part of the stay fell into a school holiday period. But because the owners had equipped the house well, there wasn't a feeling of being ripped off, which happens sometimes in beach houses where the owners provide the bare minimum of bad quality items but still charge ridiculous prices.

The home was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was befitting a chef. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we knew it would be lovely, but it was wonderful. The home was very close to beaches and shops, and we really felt at home. Our little poodle loved running on the lush green grass. We are singing its praises to our friends, if we come again, we will definitely want to stay there again. thank you so much, we had a fantastic time. Maureen Harris

Cute but not clean, not worth the price.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house wasn’t very clean at all, there were spider webs inside and the windows were not clean for a long time. Including the bbq which was disgusting, we literally had to wash it. Our plan was to use the wood bbq for our Brazilian bbq, which was not possible. The description said it had a wood bbq in the house that’s why we brought the Brazilian meats with us. I did try to contact but, the bbq never showed up and I hardly had reception so I missed a call. The location was good.

Great location

Had an enjoyable stay here. Nice big fridge and the property had everything we needed including BBQ, washing machine and dryer and the kitchen was well appointed. Place was easy to keep clean all we needed to do was sweep. Location was excellent, close to cylinder beach and walking distance from local shops. The day beds in the living area were great for relaxing/snoozing after a day at the beach. Downsides: There were dead cockroaches all around the house but otherwise clean. Would have been great if there were fly screens on all the bedroom windows to keep bugs out at night but still let the breeze through. Beds were hard but you get used to it eventually. The price per night was affordable, but still a bit high in my opinion for what it was compared to other properties on offer in Point Lookout.
