Good house great location

Booked through Fisk & Nagle/Getaway so key pick up and drop off efficient and maintenance need promptly attended to. Great location - walking to Main Beach (although a hill coming back !) Walk to coffee, Spencer Park. Whilst car parking for 3 cars it is a steep drive with a tight turning space. Good hose and drainage near garage for sandy feet and beach gear, outside line (and pegs !) and a small sunny pebbled back yard with terraced garden is a good spot for kids to play. Inside as described and spotlessly clean. Stairs are steep and short but a stair gate is provided (look in laundry) Laundry excellent with modern appliances and kitchen has a big frig with a good capacity freezer as top drawer of frig. Plentiful supply of china and cutlery including some plastic children's plates and bowls. Heating excellent (we were there in winter so crisp mornings before sunny days) - wall mounted heater in living areas and panel heaters in bedrooms. Beds excellent and comfortable. Ample wardrobe space in each bedroom plus a plentiful supply of hangers. 3 generations had a great holiday.

The White House on Main St

Our group of 8 adults were comfortably accommodated at this house. Three bathrooms were a welcome bonus. Plenty of space with no feeling of crowding throughout the whole house.Clean and well stocked with household items.Some minor repairs were required and a maintenance man had them fixed reasonably promptly. Linen is not supplied however, a doona with cover is on all beds. Downstairs area seems to be underutilized with a large living room not really necessary and there is no door to close off this area so,as such,not a private retreat, and the light switches to the bedroom and bathroom are on a far wall from each door. Slightly inconvenient especially coming into the rooms in the dark. Good communication with the staff of Getaway both for the booking and responding to our request for repairs. All in all, we would stay here again.
