The space:

Enjoy a great escape from the hustle & bustle of the big city, but still close enough to enjoy all that Austin has to offer. Zilker Park and 6th street are just 30 mins away. The Austin Airport is a 15 min drive away. Our 2 bed/ 1 bath casita is fully equipped for hosting up to 14 friends & family with a full kitchen, full bath, stand-up shower, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, a heated pool (additional charge) and hot tub with ultimate privacy, a grill, laundry, outdoor games, ample parking, & expansive trails for exploring.
We are conveniently located next door to the famous Jester's King Brewery as well as dozens of other wineries, distilleries, and breweries. Only 15 miles from Downtown Austin & 10 miles from Dripping Springs. Our property sits on 20 acres of hill country land filled with trees and native wildlife. This cute little casita accompanies a larger home on the property that can be booked for events, and larger gatherings.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the casita, front porch, back porch, the outdoor fire pit, jacuzzi, and the trails around the house. Keyless entry for 24 hour arrival and departure.

Ask for a heated pool

The property is very nice, there is a lot of tranquility there, it is perfect to go to meditate but it is also very nice to have fun but if you need to ask about the heated pool, you have to pay extra for that service, it is assumed that if you are looking for a heated pool it is because you need it that way, but well supposedly check in is at 3pm and they gave us access to enter atuntil 4pm so I don't know what you think!

The perfect weekend getaway!

This spot felt like we were on a little vacation when we were in fact only 1hr away from our home. We had a blast in the pool all weekend and it was so quiet and secluded. The house was very clean and there were no issues. I definitely recommend 👍👍

Relaxing getaway

We absolutely loved staying in this home. Our family of 4 fit this home very comfortably. The pool was utilized for hours everyday. The ambiance of the string lights around the pool was great. The pool chairs were plentiful. They even offered a game of cornhole and a pool float. I was quite disappointed that the hot tub was not working. I messaged with the property prior to booking our stay, and they ensured me that the hot tub was up and running. When we arrived, it had maybe 4 inches of water in it. Luckily everything with the pool was great and my kids enjoyed it. I would also like to add that this home would be extremely full and probably uncomfortable with 14 people in it as advertised. I would say this home would sleep 10 (2 per bed) at the very most, but the one bathroom situation would be not be fun. It was perfect for our family of 4!

Round 2 at this Property

This was our second stay at this property. Very nice, clean, secluded property with both a pool and a jacuzzi. Upon arrival we noticed that the top to the jacuzzi tub was in bad shape. Once we lifted it up we noticed the jacuzzi had no water in it. Contacted the property management and they asked if we would mind just filling it. We did and turned it on to run through the night. Checked on it the next morning to find it was down six inched from where we filled it the night before and was heated only to 91 degrees. We notified the management of this situation. Pool and house were awesome and the jacuzzi was not a deal breaker. Overall a nice quiet, well furnished home.

Broken Hot Tub

Our stay at this VRBO rental had its highs and lows. The main positive was the pool. It was fantastic. clean, well-maintained, and provided enjoyment for our kids. The outdoor space was lovely, and we appreciated the effort put into creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, we were disappointed to find that the hot tub was out of order during our stay. It was one of the main features we looked for when searching for a rental, so its malfunction was a letdown. While we understand that mechanical issues can arise, it would have been helpful to have been informed about this beforehand or to have received a remedy so we could use the hot tub during our stay. We had inquired about the hot tub the day before check-in and also asked how to use it when we checked in because it was not hot. I would have expected that checking the mechanicals of the property, including the hot tub, would be part of the rental turnover process. To make up for the hot tub issue, the rental management turned on the pool heater which was a nice offer but unnecessary since the pool temperature was already comfortable. Overall, this VRBO rental has great potential, especially with its pool and secluded location.

The home was well kept. The pool was a dream in the Texas heat. Located close enough to still do things during the day in the city. The property was beautiful.

Great Getaway Weekend

House was just as advertised, very clean, quiet, and the pool was great. Out in the country but close enough to town to run in if needed. Look forward to staying again.

Exceptional property

We loved this Casita!! It was perfect for our family. We are a family of five including a 5 month old infant. It had everything we needed. It didn’t have detergent when we got there but the host delivered it immediately! The bunk beds and pool were our kiddos favorites! The casita even had a pack n play for our infant. We were able to spent most of our time in the pool. The grill was perfect to use while the kids played in the pool. The views were outstanding! It was a delight and created beautiful memories with our family. This was perfect for being our very first vacation rental ever after only using hotels in the past. Thank yoh

Beautiful pool

The outside area was a 5 + Inside shower floor I thought was dirty wore white socks around inside and they were very dirty when I went to take them off No toaster Lots of bath towels no kitchen dish towel or dishcloths. brand new washer and dryer

Perfect house for our group.

Loved it! A little casita with privacy. A pool, spa, and fire pit and stars. All within 10 minutes of several eateries and breweries. We will definitely visit again and would recommend 512 Retreat to everyone.

Beautiful Property, secluded and private

The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay! I rented this property for the weekend of our wedding and it was an amazing time. Everything was a 10/10. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that the heated pool was advertised as part of the listing. Only once we booked the property we were told that it was an additional $600 to have the pool heated. I totally understand the cost but would have liked to know about it ahead of time. Overall incredible experience, beautiful house, and the hosts left an incredible basket of goodies upon our arrival. 10/10 recommend this property and greatly appreciate this being a part of our special weekend.

A true hill country gem

this house was perfect for our vacation! The hot tub was my favorite during the cold evenings. The house had everything we needed and more! Plenty of towels and cooking utensils, comfortable beds, and beautiful views all around. Host was extremely responsive, we can't wait for our next trip!
