Grande maison de plage familiale avec vue magnifique sur l'océan! "Jackson's Corner" dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes, douche extérieure, terrasse fantastique avec vue imprenable sur l'océan! L'accès à la plage est à quelques mètres. Cette escapade à la plage pourra accueillir confortablement 8 personnes. Passez du temps à vous détendre sur l’une des 2 balançoires du pont avant en profitant des vues et des sons de l’océan! Les installations comprennent un lave-vaisselle, une machine à laver / sèche-linge, une connexion Wi-Fi à Internet, un barbecue au charbon, un système de climatisation central, une douche extérieure, 2 terrasses face à l'océan et bien plus encore! Marcher à de nombreuses commodités Oak Island, y compris Food Lion, Dairy Queen et plusieurs restaurants!

S'il vous plaît apporter vos serviettes et les draps pour 3 lits Queen, 1 Double / Full pour dormir confortablement 8 personnes.

Nice and Relaxing Stay

We stayed for a long weekend for a big family gathering in the area. Access to the beach was a breeze. Host was very responsive and kindly and quickly mailed back an item that was left behind. We enjoyed relaxing on both the upstair and downstair patios where we could see and hear the ocean.

Great location, quick and easy walk to the beach. The house is very well stocked and worked for our family. Great value for the rental with accurate photos. The spiral staircase is tight! I wouldn’t recommend small children or anyone with mobility issues in the upstairs bedrooms.

Great location!!

Our family enjoyed our stay! The location to restaurants, grocery store and the beach were wonderful and convenient. Having a place to rinse off the items we took to the beach daily was an added bonus! My husband even said he would happily stay here, again!

Great location

My family and I had a great time. We had great weather beach access was awesome. Having Publix and Food Lion just right around the corner Was a nice accommodation. Would definitely rent this place again

New years at beach

Location and view were the best. Spiral staircase was surprisingly not as bad as i thought. The view and location made it totally worth it

Location, location, location

This property is directly across from beach access and literally less than 100 yards to the water. The views are amazing. The check in process was super easy and the place was exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Oak Island.

Family Vacay 2023

We loved the location and easy access to the beach. Getting our luggage to the second floor was a little challenging with the spiral staircase. We really enjoyed the swings on the bottom porch and the view from the top porch was amazing.

Fantastic Location

This is a great spot with a fantastic view, and a ton of things to do whether you're on a family vacation or just travelling as a pair. You don't want to miss out on this gem. Property manager is extremely easy to work with and clearly lays out the requirements before the stay. Awesome vacation!

Dirty moldy cottage

Wow, I’m so sorry you felt this way. We have never had problems with mold in our units and never had a review like this. No one lives there full time and we have the furniture cleaned regularly. I wish you would have reached out during your stay to let me know your concerns.

Perfect Views & Access!

Everything about my stay was perfect, from booking it, and my communications with Valerie (who is on point, kind, and helpful, btw), to the stay itself! Gorgeous unobstructed views of the beach, amazingly gorgeous sunsets to soak in, peaceful and clean home in a perfect location, that has all that you need to enjoy your stay! Had an absolutely amazing weekend in every way! Thank you Valerie for opening up your home to me! I will be back! In fact, I already have it rebooked! :) Can't wait!! :)

Older home and not clean like we like it. Just not our cup of tee. Good effort just misses the mark. Outdoor shower was best thing and most comfortable place. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Porch was very nice but small. A little bit of investment and cleaning this place could be awesome. Just not that nice

Thank you for your feedback. I would have loved to rectify the situation by having our cleaning crew come out when you first arrived if I had known there were issues. We have not had concerns with cleaning from other guests; I have already spoken with the cleaners about your feedback.

Million Dollar View

Great location with a million dollar view. Beach was a short walk across the street and no other structures block the view of the ocean. Great house for our group of 5 adults. Not recommended for anyone that is handicapped or unable to do steps. Loved being able to take the family dog along with us to the beach.

Great location but a few drawbacks

The location/view are hands down what makes this rental enjoyable. House specific though there were definitely a few things that were not ideal. 1) Upon arrival there were several dead cockroaches outside and throughout both floors of the rental. I communicated with Valerie and she indicated pest control comes monthly, but as a renter I honestly wouldn't have stayed here if I had known about this problem. In addition to the dead cockroaches, I saw a live one on the second day of our rental and it clearly is a problem as I found a dead one in the air vent coming down the stairs from the second floor. I understand pest problems are more likely in older homes, but it wasn't just one bug and was closer to 10 discovered which for someone who hates bugs not somewhere I wanted to sleep. 2) As other reviewers mentioned, there is a dampness problem that the owners are trying to address with multiple damp-rid cans/bags throughout the house. They are trying to tackle the problem but there is a bit of a mustiness to some of the furniture as a result. 3) It is an older home so the electrical took some getting used to as not all switches seemed to do stuff or did and lamps were off so it was a bit playing around sometimes to find the right combinations (was only a bit of a hassle upon arrival as we got in during the dark and with small kids we were trying to find the lights to move our luggage and kids in) and 4) we had three little kids (ages 1-5) and both decks had several rusty screws/nails lying about (i.e. fell out of somewhere and not a situation of being left there intentionally) - so if you have small kids, just check around before letting them explore the deck areas.

Thanks for your feedback. We do have regular pest control. As I had mentioned, I had them come out an extra time prior to your stay which is why you saw some dead water bugs (not roaches, water bugs are a common occurrence at the beach) on your arrival. I will check on the nails on the decks as I have not seen that or had anyone else mention it. As a house built in the 60’s right across the beach from the ocean, we will have dampness in the house. We have a dehumidifier and also the damp rid canisters to help. Unfortunately, there isn’t much we can do about that. The furniture is cleaned regularly and the recliners are brand new.

Location, location, location!

We just left Jackson’s Corner this morning! What a great location, steps from the beach! Home was cozy, nice beach deco, very functional and inclusive kitchen, convenient outdoor shower and hose to spray off beach toys. Super close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. We had perfect weather to top it all off! Thanks Valerie for the great stay!!

Beautiful views

This is a great beach getaway with beautiful views. Our family enjoyed being able to walk to the stores and ice cream shop as well the perfect beach access.
