Beautiful Oceanfront Home near Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

This beautiful Oceanfront home with private stairs to your secluded beach. Walk the beach for miles on low tide looking for sea creatures. Relax on the two story deck sipping on your morning coffee while watching the cruise ships enter the Charlottetown harbour. BBQ or take stunning pictures of the lobster boats coming back in from daily catches.

Our fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities like home. We left nothing out. When dinner is ready enjoy it either on the deck, or in the dinning room overlooking the ocean.

Star gaze late into the night in our 6 man hot tub or roast marshmallows in our fire pit.

Our guest always return for our secluded beach. Nothing beats the warm water and the slow rising tides. Very safe for the whole family.

The waterfront home speaks for itself. It can’t be beat.
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

Perfect family getaway

Beautiful property and amenities for a family vacation. We had a wonderful time, and the hosts are very friendly, helpful and available. We would love to return to this spot in the future!

Lovely place to relax with everything you needed. The views of the water from the deck was the best place for a coffee in the morning or an evening glass of wine. Easy access to anywhere you wanted to explore. And a hot tub to unwind at the end of the day. Mark was great to communicate and fast to respond to any questions

Beautiful Cottage

We spent one week at this beautiful oceanfront cottage and wish we could hav stayed forever. The location was perfect for exploring the island. The private beach was amazing for exploring and searching for ocean critters. The host was great to deal with and very prompt with communication. We would absolutely return to this cottage in the future!

Great vacation

Vacation home was lovely. Grandchildren loved the beach and catching hermit crabs. We will be back.

This is a beautiful place. Very private and peaceful. Fabulous cottage with tons of space. Big kitchen and a huge walk in pantry stocked with everything you could want! Super clean. It was nice to have private access to the water. It’s very handy to grocery stores and a nice little bakery in Cornwall. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.

A perfect week

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The pictures do not do it justice. We spent a ton of time at the very private beach, and at low tide were able to take long walks and find all kinds of creatures and sea glass. The house was clean and comfortable, and had an amazing view. Hosts were very kind and responsive. This will be a week we will always remember as wonderful.

Wonderful stay

Our family of 4 (kids age 4 and 6) had a great week staying at Mark's place. The location is just as described in the listing. We enjoyed the beach in the front at low tide, our kids loved checking out the tide pools. The house is not too far from Charlottetown and other PEI attractions. Mark was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were completely happy with our stay. This is a wonderful place and we hope to return some day.

Better than the pictures

Had a great week here. Home was beautiful and had everything you could need. View from the house/deck was incredible. Loved going to the private beach. The house was even more incredible than the pictures showed. Hosts were very responsive and available for any questions about anything.

The pictures and description don’t do justice to this beautiful property. It’s beautifully appointed with everything one could need, immaculate and so comfortable. The beach is so private and the water is so easy to get into. Mark and Mary Ellen are wonderful hosts. We can’t wait to come ba k.

Amazing Property, Excellent host

Just as described, actually even better. This property was a true slice of heaven. Clean, quiet, comfortable, homey and all amenities that you would ever need. Easy and private ocean/beach access right in the back yard. Mark is an excellent host and made the whole process simple. Thanks for a phenomenal family vacation. I hope to see you again soon.

Little Slice of Heaven

As a family of 5 with kids aged 10,12 and 14, this house and location was perfect. Everything was spotless, we had everything we needed (in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms (extra pillows and warm blankets) and some! With 2 bedrooms and a second living room/bathroom downstairs the kids had their own space when needed and were quiet in the mornings! The beach area is amazing - with the red rocks/beach/cliffs- it had the true PEI feel. When the tide goes out slowly each day there are tons of sea critters to explore which was amazing for all of us - kids and adults alike. Water shoes might help feel more comfortable if critters make you squirmy (which is our entire city-folk family!) When the tide is at its highest, the water is still shallow enough to not have to worry about the kids getting in but life jackets would ease minds for young little ones or those who are not as comfortable in the water. The owners had a couple life jackets to use-m which we appreciated after forgetting ours at home. The hot tub is just the cherry on top after full days of fun in the sun. The owners are so kind and offered to show us a nearby beach, but we ran out of time and will do that next time we stay… which we already booked bc it is that good! They were responsive and helpful with everything we needed. No hesitation to recommend this lovely home!

We loved our stay in Cumberland. The cottage was extremely well equipped. The living areas were larger than the pictures suggested. The deck and hot tub were lovely the beach was amazing!! We, as three adults, spent hours combing the beach for treasures and enjoyed all of the sea life too. Bring binoculars and you can watch the lobster boats. The only downfall was the bed in the small bedroom, it has lost all of its spring.

Our family from Newfoundland and Saskatchewan had a wonderful stay at your place. It was perfect for our needs, and having access to the water was absolutely amazing.
