About the host

Hey everyone. We're Susan & JP and we have a daughter Lila and son Marlo. We live in Dublin but JP is originally from Payrac so we know this area like the back of our hands and can give you lots of insider tips - what to see and even more importantly where to eat! :) We're both keen foodies (JP is a chef) and we love to travel. We recently built this house as a summer getaway for our family as well as a holiday rental so that others can enjoy everything we love about the beautiful Lot and Dordogne areas of France!! It really is an exceptional place. We look forward to welcoming you to Las Vignotes de Lea! :)
Why they chose this property
We built this house in 2018 on family land we inherited. JP is from this village and we wanted to showcase the stunning area to other curious travellers.
We are located really close to some of France's most famous villages and there are so many other attractions with prehistoric caves, a monkey forest, a waterpark, lakeside beaches, river swimming and canoeing and the best food you've ever tasted in your life! Not to mention the castles and medieval architecture everywhere that is just so unique and pretty and typically French. This is the real France you've been dreaming of!
What makes this property unique
The views from the master bedroom are hard to beat! An expansive private garden of 1.5 acreas overlooks the pretty Payrac village and it's a perfect way to start the day when you open up those French shutters.
The area is so peaceful and I love being woken up to just the sound of the birds tweeting. It's very private and so relaxing.
