Great place to get away from the city lights, and fantastic host. I have attached a photo of the bedroom set-up as this was our only challenge with 2 small kids - the rooms are continuous in terms of light and noise.

Fantastic winter family getaway

Spacious and comfy converted barn surrounded by stunning farmland. The wood burner and farm fresh eggs were a bonus. The kids loved it too, would stay again.

Great stay

Host Jill was very accommodating with supplying eggs & setting up the fire ready to go, which we all enjoyed as it heated the whole house. Being close to Masterton we were able to take the 3 boys to the skate park (which is awesome) each day along with giving the paddle bots a go. Good location very central & cosy with everything you need.

Peace in the country.

Loved the Green Barn for my family of 4 adults and a three year old.. Its roomy with a cosy fire. Comfortable beds and lounge area. Had everything we needed for a relaxed two night stay in the country. It isnt an ultra flash place but we felt comfortable and relaxed. We will try to stay there again one day.

This was a good place to stay, suited our needs. The toilet is downstairs from the bedrooms and down a couple more stairs too. Worked well enough for us. Jill was friendly and the eggs and chocolate were a lovely touch

Awesome Country Green Barn Stay

Absolutely loved our stay at the Green Barn. Attended a funeral down the road at the local marae and was so close. Will definitely be coming back again. Comfortable beds and tidy. Awesome treat receiving some eggs and chocolates ❤️❤️❤️. Such a beautiful place and the scenery was amazing. Thank you very much Jill, prompt communication and came to see if we were ok 👌. A great little hideaway retreat ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Right in the heart of the Wairarapa

Really enjoyed staying in the Green Barn, easy drive to the main towns of the Wairarapa. Secluded location away from the farm but sheep & hill views, with comfortable beds, efficient wood burner and all the kitchen items needed. No Wifi was no problem. The children loved the upstairs bedrooms. Very close to the Gladstone Inn. Thank you Jill!

A sunny retreat house in a farm setting

This was a sunny, homely retreat surrounded by fields. There were games for all ages, and lots of cosy spaces downstairs. It has two bedrooms, but because the babies fell sick while we were there, and woke crying during the night, we realised that they're more like one and a half bedrooms for sound. We would love to come back as a couple on our bicycles, or with the children when they're a bit older

Same as other comments. Jill is easy to deal with and available but not intrusive. The downstairs area is quite roomy so there is space for all. The kitchen is well stocked - we cooked there and there was nothing we needed that wasn't available. The front lawn area is lovely and perfect for a kick around with a ball (bring the ball) The property has a basic bathroom and the bedrooms lead on to one another rather than separate. The floor boards are very noisy upstairs so there is no sneaking around! We enjoyed our stay
