Charming apartment with spectacular views

We had a very relaxing stay in this lovely property. Once you navigate the older style entrance to the building the apartment is fabulous. Spectacular views from the living areas. The kitchen is very well set up and the bedding is very comfortable. A great location close to the shops and the beach

Great location

Ok don’t expect much when you first arrive BUT this place does really grown on you.. Think your nanas house haha (I’m 45). The owners have supplied a tone of hot drink stuff, beautiful comfy bed with really nice linen and dressed place with gorgeous vintage. AND LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.. So unbelievably close to everything

Overall terrible experience at this property. Check in was confusing. The property was beyond unhygienic and dirty. There was dust everywhere, and we had to wipe down every room in the house with sanitation spray and disinfectant wipes. There was dog hair on the carpet, as well as red coloured hair. People I stayed with had hay fever and dust allergy and this was triggered due to the amount of dust and lack of hygiene of the place. When we tried to contact the owner MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the stay and before, not once did they answer and there was no option to leave a message. It was so cold during the night, and the ONLY heater in the place did not turn on, and when we tried to contact someone (MPHA), we were told they would speak to the owner and get back to us, and we never heard anything back. The TV would turn on and off every 5 minutes without any warning or reason (also contacted mpha about this, heard nothing back). More than anything, the most concerning thing was the security of the building. There was a security door that didn't lock from the outside. All the main locks of the building were rusty and we were worried that if we twisted too hard they would come right off. We headed to sleep with three chairs in front of the door, in case someone was able to break in because we had ZERO faith in the locks nor doors.

Character and location

This is a character property built 1947. The location is fantastic with sea views and just a short walk from the town centre. There are also couple of pub/restaurants just couple of minutes walk away. Property had got a gas fire but it still gets chilly in the winter because you are high up just by the sea. Something to keep in mind.

The standout feature is the panoramic window view located in a charming original condition 50's home tastefully decorated and well appointed - we just enjoyed sunsets over the bay worth it!

Weekend with elderly parents

First impressions were not great as the front entrance and stairs to the apartment were in need of a good sweep and de-cobwebbing. All blinds were closed on arrival, it would have been nice to have the apartment light and welcoming. Once we opened all the blinds and aired the place out it was a lovely place to spend a drizzly weekend with that beautiful view. Was a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the apartment, was a bit grubby around sinks in kitchen and bathroom and all windowsills were quite dusty and windows covered with cobwebs. Having said that, everything else was great and of good quality - kitchen, bedding, linen and towels. It is a beautiful, comfortable and very well presented apartment, could just do with a good spring clean.

Beach Belle Delight

It was Such a delight staying at Beach Belle, My Husband, two young children and I Loved it. Walking distance to the Main street which has Lovely cafes and restaurant's. Beautiful views, lovely parks for the family to Play and enjoy the sunshine. And the amazing views of the ocean and boats. We all loved looking through the telescope. Thankyou for such a lovely stay.

Sea views in Mornington

A very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a great location. With sea views from every window it was a great place to relax or return to after a day out. The cooking facilities and equipment were better than we have come to expect. Rod was a great help when we had to ask for an extension because of Covid 19
