About this property

6 bedroom luxurious mediterranean stone villa with pool and spa

Beautiful mediterranean stone villa, restored and modernly furnished and opened for guests in 2017. As the owners are professional photographers all is made in retro photographic style with real vintage cameras and famous photographs. As a surprise a fully functional studio with lights, backgrounds, professional camera for guests to make family & friend photos. The whole complex is made from 3 buildings on a 3000m2 private property in the forest. A quiet heaven for peace and relaxation.
Originaly the house dates back to 1907 and has a wonderful and rich history. It took us 10 years to fully renovate with 3 highly recognised architects. The design is vintage-chic with light wood warm tones fused with modern glass and steel and playfull splashes of color here and there. And of course the photography theme everywhere from a huge collection of rare cameras, famous photographs and studio lights. We even have the original Kodak camera used in the movie "The Beach" by Leonardo di Caprio.

Amazing house for a holiday with friends

We had a wonderful week at Villa Fotografica. We enjoyed the pool, volleyball, Football, Trampolin, 2 kitchens and of course Rajko and his wife were very supportive and friendly. I would definitely recommend it and would come again ☺️

Das Haus war der Hammer! Wir waren dort mit einer Gruppe von 12 Personen. Es hätte nicht besser für uns sein können. Der Vermieter war super nett und hat uns immer sofort geholfen.

Tolles Haus für Gruppen!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 14 Erwachsenen und konnten in dem Haus alles genießen. Der Außenbereich ist sehr groß und für sehr viele Freizeitgestaltungen sehr gut geeignet. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr persönlich und individuell eingerichtet und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Rundum Perfekt

Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal für allerlei Aktivitäten, alles, vom Einkauf bis zum Strand ist mit dem Auto gut und schnell zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat einwandfrei funktioniert und auch sonst ist mit Pool, Grill, Vollyball-Platz und Billiard für jeden was dabei um den Urlaub zu genießen. Alles war sauber und auch die themenhafte Gestaltung des Hauses ist toll umgesetzt. Die etwas abgelegene Lage des Hauses ohne wirkliche Nachbarn bietet vor allem abends eine tolle Atmosphäre und auch sonst natürlich eine gute Privatsphäre. Alles in allem, war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub ohne Dinge, die wir zu beanstanden hatten.

Tolles Haus!

Die Villa ist super schön und bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen. Die Lage ist prima, denn man wohnt abgelegen und dennoch ist man in sehr kurzer bei einem Supermarkt oder am Meer. Über den Vermieter kann man auch nur positives sagen. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und es wird sich darum gekümmert, dass man einen tollen Aufenthalt erlebt. Gerne wieder!

Perfekter Urlaub!

Der Urlaub war sehr schön. Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Und der Vermieter war super nett. Die Lage war für uns persönlich perfekt. Schön abgelegen, aber zentral zum Einkaufen und Strand. Wir sind ca 20 min zum Strand nach Rabac gefahren. Das Haus lässt an nichts vermissen. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter wurde uns nicht langweilig. Ich kann nur danke sagen an Rajko. Gute Restaurants sind auch in der Umgebung. Kurz gesagt. Perfekt!

I am a professional photographer and along with my beautiful wife, we own two photo studios in the meditteranian area of Istria. We have been hopefully successfull and have had this business for over 15 years mainly doing artistic wedding and portrait photography. We work hard to get a chance to travel the world and of course take our cameras. Although I was born and lived in Chicago, we only go to the states in winter to Florida, but love to travel anywhere else we get a chance. From 2017 we are blessed with a little baby daughter. We are not complicated people, we just like walking around and people watching and feel lucky to get a chance to see different places. From 2016 we renovated a beautiful Istrian stone complex and put all our love of photography in it. Along with a beautiful seaside apartment we love to host guests from all over the world. We love the sea and have a little boat, enjoy movies, pop music and do not like (late sleepers).

Why they chose this property

The whole Villa complex is located on a big private property with miles of forest all around. As you have no close neighbors and the road ends at our villa, you have the privacy you need for a complete relaxing holiday. Guests can relax by the big pool, or on the huge teraces, others can enjoy the spa area and sauna... and kids have all the space around the villa to play all day long. There are 2 kitchens and grill area to make your pool lunches and warm summer evening dinners.. Enjoy
