Cette propriété est dans un endroit magnifique et privé, à environ 10 minutes en voiture du village de Kangaroo Valley. Profitez de champagne et de chocolats gratuits à votre arrivée en profitant des 200 hectares de paradis, de l'escarpement, de la forêt tropicale, des cascades et du bétail miniature. Le chalet est joliment décoré, exceptionnellement confortable, avec air conditionné et une cheminée et est entièrement équipé.

Situé à l'étage supérieur, vous trouverez la spacieuse chambre principale avec un lit Queen confortable et une salle de bains privative, ainsi qu'une deuxième chambre accueillante et la deuxième salle de bains. De beaux peignoirs de bain doux sont également fournis afin que vous puissiez être plus détendu tout en vous prélassant devant le feu en lisant un bon livre ou en regardant un DVD. Aussi à l'étage est un salon et un grand balcon avec cadre extérieur pour profiter de la vue imprenable. Avec sa propre cuisine entièrement équipée avec les nécessités de base, sa salle à manger et son jardin avec barbecue, vous n’avez même pas besoin de quitter les lieux: faites simplement vos valises, arrivez et oubliez que le reste du monde existe.

Spectacular!

We loved our stay here! The location was magical - incredible view of the valley, the amazing wildlife in the surrounding bush, the stars, the sounds, etc. KV and this cabin were highlights of our visit to Australia! Thank you so much! I hope to be able to return on day.

Pristine Location and Views

A wonderful and charming cottage with spectacular views where you feel like you are in the forest. I woke up to see some fog forming through the valley during the sunrise, such a great view from the top balcony. The animals on the property were friendly and inquisitive we came across lyrebirds, parrots, aplacas, cows, dogs and rabbits. It was 10 minutes to the town and 30 minutes radius for all the other lookouts and hikes in the region which made it a wonderful base that you could come back to quickly if needed. I will definetly stay again.

Unexpected let down

Besides the beautiful fire place, our whole stay was uncomfortable due to the very hard beds and the very strong odour in one of the bedrooms (when the door was opened the smell travelled throughout the whole place). We ended up buying a plug-in deodoriser to disguise the smell. We could only use one shelf of the fridge door as the other two were missing. There was no storage space as there was four of us stayng there. We left the place a lot cleaner than when we got there, as we cleaned up all the spider webs. Needs a lot of updates 😒

Second time around

My family and I love going to kangaroo valley. This is the second time we have stayed at this house. We absolutely love it! It’s the perfect space and great for the kids. We see cows, wombats, kangaroos and have lamas right next to us. Will stay again and again.

Better than expected

We knew we were going to see some amazing views once we started crawling up the road to the property. It was perfect. 3 days was not enough. Complete relaxation and the furthest we travelled was to the duck pond a little down the road to feed the ducks and one cute little diver bird. Comfy beds, beautiful fire, ensure shower pressure was amazing. Definitely coming back for longer next time.

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay at Alcheringa; the view from the house is stunning and even though the weather was hit-and-miss, it didn't matter - it was equally relaxing to sit listening to the rain as it was to look out onto a sunny valley. The property is close to the town - an easy ten minutes to drive down and pick up lunch - but far enough away that it's lovely and peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the WiFi is! Our only minor complaint is that the upstairs sliding door is a bit temperamental and the flyscreen is coming away a bit. Apart from that everything was just wonderful. Complimentary wine and choccies were a nice finishing touch! Very highly recommended and we will come to stay again in future. Thank you Jacqueline!

Beautiful setting!

Perfect place to explore Kangaroo Valley. Despite inclement weather, we loved sitting and watching the mists change across the valley. Very peaceful!

Slice of heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little slice of heaven nestled in the hills with stunning views across the valley. The owner was very helpful and friendly but gave us our privacy. We loved seeing the roos and alpacas and even spied an echidna ambling across the paddock. The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped and spacious. We will definitely be back.

A comfortable stay with beautiful views - even during the anticipated morning fog of Kangaroo Valley since the property is up on a hill and overlooks the valley below. Entirely self contained so no need to leave! Would definitely come back.

Not great for the price

While the view was incredible, the place was not very clean and for the price you would expect greater attention to detail. There was only one bathrobe with two of us staying there, conditioners but no shampoo and waxy magazine paper instead of newspaper to start the fire. Nice but not worth the money.

Hidden gem

It was awsome! Wombats, echidnas, wallabies and kangaroos everywhere. Also 2 alpacas in the paddock were a nice surprise. Cozy, stunning views, felt like a little home. The wood fireplace kept us nice and warm in the evening. Comfortable beds and nice towels. Didnt want to leave this little paradise!

Amazing place!

I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage, it has everything and the views are breathtaking! With rain, fog raising and rainbow in the distance with the valley you couldnt ask for a better place to relax away from it all. The driving up hill is beautiful and tested my driving skills, the surroundings of the forest is lovely. A nice comfy place, will be back!.

Quiet and perfect outlook!

Lovely part of the world

What a beautiful spot! We were so impressed with the view! It was truly lovely for our family to spend a couple of days basking in the glory of nature. The rustic atmosphere and layout of the cottage was great and it was bigger than we expected. We enjoyed the fire, the stargazing, the wombats, the BBQ and did I mention the view! Sadly, we found both beds to be extremely and almost unbearably firm. Even my husband who loves a firm bed was struggling to get a good nights sleep. Also, the couches in both sitting rooms were in desperate need of replacing with something more comfortable. It was just not really the kind of place we could look forward to curling up on a comfy couch together at night or having a restful sleep (which to my mind are really essential ingredients for a 'relaxing' break away in a place like this). Such a shame because in every other way the cottage really exceeded our expectations. We would be back in a heartbeat and score the comfort and quality 5 stars if the beds and couches were replaced!

Very Comfy

We had a lovely weekend at Alcheringa. Felt very cosy inside with the fire and the view is spectacular! Very well equipped and comfortable house and lots of wombats which was lovely to see. The town is very close but you feel completely secluded at the cottage which is just a short drive into the property. I think that the electric blankets in the second bedroom don't seem to work but that didn't affect our stay.

A very peaceful experience

A great location away from traffic. Superb views, even in the rain. We spent a very cosy weekend at Alcheringa, with lovely wood fire. Close to Kangaroo Valley shops and activities. Very well maintained and comfortable. Would love to have had a few more days there.
