Amazing Peaceful Property with Views

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The views are amazing, as well as the location. The property itself is high quality and the primary bedroom bed is uber comfortable. Close to skiing and the square.

This house was perfect for our stay. Clean with comfortable living areas and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate our group. The views from the living room and outdoor patios were gorgeous especially at sunset. It wasn’t as well stocked as other rentals I’ve stayed in but there was enough to get by. The pool is only open from Memorial Day until Labor Day which was disappointing because it looked the it had a great view also. There is a ton of stuff to see and do in Santa Fe and within an hour and a half drive. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Perfect home!!!

I could not believe how beautiful this property was! The fact that I did not want to leave is always a indication to me that I have stayed in a perfect environment. it was incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed and decorated. The beds were cozy, grand, and I did not want to get out in the mornings! The view was simply spectacular… Sunset with a glass of wine was nirvana. My husband and I loved it so much, we are actually thinking of buying in the neighborhood. We will definitely stay there every time we return to Santa Fe!

Wonderful views, note bedding size

Overall a wonderful home! We loved the location, decor, and found the communication and check in process easy. The only reason I am rating this four stars instead of five is because of the mattress sizing in two of the bedrooms being fulls. It is noted in the listing that the home offers fulls in two of the bedrooms which is very limiting for adult couples traveling together. Wonderful views and the home is built with high end finishes and details. Great floor plan as well. We would suggest having seating for four adults on the patio to enjoy the views.

Loved the views out the large livingroom sliding doors. Very comfortable, clean and cozy house overall. Perfect space and amenities for 6 people. The lights outside the unit don’t come on and it’s pitch black up the walkway and to the door. Dangerous if ice is on the sidewalk you can’t see it. Host said some problem with the hoa. Not a good optic, needs to be resolved

Great but one caution

I’m no stickler for safety etc but there really should be a fence along the sidewalk next to the drainage ditch. In the dark it would be very easy to fall in the ditch. I was happy I had a flashlight.

Stunning location

This property is in the best location. Beautiful views and close to town. The home is beautiful but lacked many things in the kitchen. We didn't have any trash bags, only enough cutlery for one meal and only 4 bowls. Having to load and unload dishes for every meal was not something we wanted to think about on vacation. Kitchen was overall very poorly appointed. Was also disappointed to not be able to have a fire in the main fireplace. The owners should take inventory and update kitchen.

Ok not great

Not well stocked. Was freezing cold on arrival and took a couple of hours to warm up to normal temp. Dark walkway up to entrance with safety lights along the path burned out. Host was not very friendly or hospitable on the phone. More like 10-15 min north of the plaza not 5. Quiet, safe area. Otherwise nice house with decent sized rooms and each bedroom with its own full bath.

Hi Anthony, thanks for your review. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following: -The kitchen contains basic supplies and glasses and silverware for the home occupancy. We took an accurate inventory of all of the kitchen items at the end of last year and confirmed there is a well-stocked amount of cookware including pots and pans. Unfortunately, the kitchen is hard to keep stocked with utensils, since previous guests may have misused or taken them and were not notified. We will be purchasing additional supplies for the kitchen as mentioned to accommodate our future guests -The outdoor light is functioning, We will acknowledge the walkway at night is quite dark up until the entrance. We have taken steps to address the issue with the property management, but we understand how this had a negative impact on your stay -We will speak to our property manager regarding the communication issue, we apologize for this and have taken the appropriate steps to make sure that does not happen again Thank you for your comments, as they will help us resolve any issues for our next guests.

Not what it could be

This is our second time at this property. Pro’s - the location, the potential views, the size of the unit / very nice master bath. Con’s - no outdoor furniture even though there are 3 separate patios (actually there are two plastic chairs we bought in 2019 from WalMart), no chair or bench in the master, no nightstands at the other large bedroom, coffee maker didn’t work, called the management company and never received a call back even though they tout the local team, sparse equipment in the kitchen. At this price point in this location it is disappointing - we won’t be staying here again.

Beautiful - Needs those extra touches

The location was amazing - beautiful area and views as well as being close to downtown. House was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Would have loved to make a fire in the especially cold temps, but I understand the owner being hesitant with renters. Would have liked to see more in the kitchen - sparse on items provided. Other suggestions would be a simple bluetooth speaker (so you could listen to your own music apps), a dvd player in the LR so you could use the movies provided, better yet having the TV hooked up to the internet so you could use your own apps to watch movies. Lastly, you might want to remove the reference to the "welcome basket" in the binder if you are not going to provide one. Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental. But with just a few additions, you could put this one over the top to being spectacular!
