Welcome to Bayberry Woods! End unit four bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse with large screened porch in walking distance to the ocean, shops, restaurants, and attractions! Recent updates include a new gourmet kitchen overlooking the adjacent living room, and other updates throughout the house. This well stocked home has comfortable furnishings and relaxing beach vibes decor throughout.

The BBW community is located right off rt 26. You are less than a mile from the ocean and can walk, bike, or take the trolley. Less than a block away are great restaurants like DiFebo's, Grotto's, Cocolo sushi, Rita's water ice, Bethany diner (our favorite breakfast spot), and Off the Hook! Wawa is also steps away for your convenience.

Enjoy the community pool and tennis/pickleball courts at no extra cost! The home features a large open great room with an adjacent kitchen with dining area. A perfect space for spending time together. The kitchen was UPDATED in 2020 and fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals at home and an attached dining area. Relax and enjoy cool breezes on the back screened porch with plenty of seating and a dart board and tiki toss for entertainment. Out back is an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after a great day on the beach!

Upstairs you will find four large bedrooms - one is a master suite with private bathroom.

Bedroom 4 - twin over full bunk, plus twin bed

-Linens/towels/bath mats not provided. In addition to beach/bath towels, I recommend packing 2 small towels or bath mats and a few hand towels for kitchen/bathrooms.

We try to stock trash bags, dish/hand soap and dishwasher detergent for your stay but can not guarantee it will be available.

Always a great vacation!

I think this is the 4th time we’ve stayed at this property, and we’ll continue to come back. The location is perfect for our families, we love being steps away from the pool, and the bedroom layouts are just right for our group.

Summer Vaca

We had a great trip. We had issues with the hot water heater but with excellent communication it was taken care of!! The host was easy to contact and replied very quickly. We enjoy having the pool and the pickle ball courts. It is a nice walk to the boardwalk and you can take a trolley ride home. As noted before ,, the back porch is very loud but easy to ignore. The house and the porch were nicely stocked with games, books, and beach items.

Great location for a beach getaway

This house is in a great location and the residential parking pass made it very easy to visit the beach and boardwalk whenever we wished. The kids loved the pool and the games that are on the screened in porch.

Graduation getaway

A couple of us brought our recently graduated children to this house for some beach time. Great property, very clean, well stocked. Nice location- easy walk into the main part of Bethany (as long as you’re not carrying beach items). Very close to some great restaurants (walking distance). Lots of beach chairs and toys for kids. Sun porch nice but loud because it backs up to the main road. I would stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed last week in July and enjoyed the house and especially the pool. It’s surrounded by mature trees which provides much needed shade. Everyone enjoyed the 7 ft deep end! The plaza next to the complex was very convenient. Daily walks for hot or iced coffee. Walk to the beach was far, but town parking pass was very helpful.

Great Location and Space for Everyone!

We WOULD stay again! Owner Jodie is great and communication was wonderful. Property was perfect for our family trip. We had 4 adults, 2 teens and 1 child. For a couple nights we even had an extra adult and child. The house had plenty of space for everyone. Pros: renovated first floor with nice flooring Beautifully decorated and beachy! Neighbors were all friendly Great sized bedrooms even the one with 3 beds had plenty of room Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor Plenty of storage and hooks to hang things Close to the pool! Multitude arcade game on porch Walking distance to wawa and a few restaurants. Close to the beach with a parking permit too! Beds very comfortable Cons: Pool hours are only 8-8 carpet upstairs has seen better days Master bathroom is small with a stand up shower The first night it was a little warm in the 2 bedrooms with twins. Leave the door open and it was ok. We didn't find the fan until the last day. But it's in the closet!

What a great house!

Our party of 9 (four adults, five kids) loved this house so much. Spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The first floor is large and open with tons of seating; the second floor has a great layout with four comfy bedrooms and two baths. The house functioned flawlessly, nothing was broken or difficult to use. The front door keypad entry made coming/going so much easier than keeping track of a key. The house was filled with games, puzzles and toys for all ages to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. And there were lots of little extra touches too – hooks in all the rooms, fans and nightlights throughout, cleaning supplies, swim toys, beach chairs, a grill out back, a parking pass for town, even a fly swatter that came in handy once or twice! The neighborhood is small, quiet, and safe. The pool was wonderful and just a few steps away. The town of Bethany is about a half mile – easily walkable though it’s on a busy/loud street. The only downside is that the screened in porch backs to the road so there’s a lot of street noise. It’s hardly noticeable from inside the house, however. And we still had a great time playing ring toss and darts back there. All in all it was exactly what we needed and we may very well be back next year! Thank you!

Great stay in Bethany

Great layout, enough space to gather or be alone, updated kitchen and living room area. The condo is close to Bethany and also comes with a resident parking pass which really came in handy. We loved easy access to Ocean City, Rehoboth, outlets, and Assateague where we kayaked to see the wild ponies. Awesome stay with extended family,

Great Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the townhouse. Kitchen was fully stocked, and we found everything we needed. The kids spent hours on the screened in porch playing Tiki Toss- what a hit! The bed configuration was perfect for our two families with kiddos. We also loved that it was close enough to walk to Wawa for coffee in the morning, and Rita’s for Italian ice in the evenings. We used the pool multiple times, and even tried our hand at tennis. Overall, a great experience!

Very clean and well supplied home. Loved the pool.

Ate lots of our meals at the pool because the back patio is loud from street traffic and we were getting bit by mosquitoes on the front porch. The host was wonderful with replying to me and the house has anything and everything you need. We drove to the beach just because we like a quieter area and the walking distance was straight to the boardwalk.

Pleasant stay in Bethany

Had a pleasant stay off season in September. The house is comfortable and fairly clean - no complaints. Community is small, private and quiet. Owner was super helpful and responded quickly to all questions. There is a short drive to the beach, with the parking pass should not be much of the issue. However, the shore with public access is limited and gets crowded even in September, especially in the hight tide but it was very clean. Bethany town in general is quite and nice, was well prepared for COVID measures. For more action - restaurants and shops there are few nearby towns that are easy to get to. Overall was a very nice visit.

Welcome change of scenery

Despite our initial reservations about traveling during the quarantine craziness of Covid, we opted to take advantage of our time at Bethany Beach. Jodie was extremely responsive to my questions and provided answers promptly. The property was centrally located and well appointed. We appreciated the convenience of the beach chairs, resident’s parking pass and easy access to the community pool. The first floor was nicely renovated and the rooms upstairs provided comfortable accommodations for our entire party. The addition of the grill was an added bonus, as was the dart board and tiki toss. Bethany beach itself was very compliant with social distancing and mask wearing and we were able to take advantage of outdoor dining several times. We ventured to Fenwick Island and the Maryland border and played mini golf. We also went to check out the Bethany Beach Nature Center which was lovely and an easy walk from the condo. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Clean, Well-equipped, & Welcoming for Young Families

This is a laid-back, relaxed beach house in which it is easy to feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are thoughtful touches throughout— including many hooks on the back doors and on walls, which is very helpful for beach clothing, pajamas, towels, and such … Makes it easy to keep the place tidy. There is a nice assortment of bed sizes. We especially enjoyed the king size mattress in the master bedroom. The washer and dryer are extra large capacity and very efficient. Water pressure is especially good inside and in outside shower. There is also plenty of parking, much of it shaded...which was especially welcomed during this beastly hot week. We really appreciated the owners’ excellent communication and always pleasant, upbeat attitude. There is a pool in the Bayberry woods neighborhood, but it is very small … We enjoyed the beach so much that we didn’t stop by The pool at all. My only other observation would be that it is more than time to replace the sofa and loveseat in the living area! Both have seen better days… It’s not that they’re especially uncomfortable; it’s just that old people like us have a lot of difficulty getting out of such low riders! If you’re looking for a laid-back, well-equipped, no-frills beach place that is clean and welcoming for families, this is a nice, affordable, well located spot!
