Enjoyed a lovely, peaceful vacation week at this cozy and comfortable condo. The updated kitchen was great and stocked with everything you’ll need. Especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the courtyard filled with oak and cedar trees - it felt like being in a treehouse! The bed and pillows were so comfortable I might have slept the week away if I hadn’t been lured outside by the beautiful view of the Sound and dips in the pool. My host, Dan, was quickly responsive to my questions and provided a wonderful get away. Will definitely plan another stay here whenever I’m in the area.

Home Away from Home

We stayed at this cozy Florida condo during my daughter’s softball tournament, and it turned out to be the perfect home base for both game days and relaxation. The location was spot-on—close enough to the fields for easy access, yet tucked away just enough to feel like a retreat.The condo offered direct access to the water and pier which made mornings especially peaceful. We enjoyed sipping coffee while watching the sunrise ripple across the surface. Along with some family fishing time at night. After long tournament days, the pool was a lifesaver. Cool, clean, and just steps away.Inside, everything was thoughtfully arranged with a laid-back vibe. Plenty of room to spread out, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfy sleeping arrangements made it easy to settle in. We had everything we needed without any fuss.Between game highlights and spontaneous poolside laughs, the condo became part of the experience. It wasn’t just a place to stay—it was where we recharged, celebrated wins, and made some pretty great memories.The host was very friendly and responsive. We’d gladly book it again!

Construction zone

The property & apt. Would be fine once the construction is completed. Apt was on 3rd floor where we heard noisy construction & extension chords / workmen in our walking paths. Stayed one of our 3 nights Requested full refund.

It was a nice place to stay. Close to all the restaurants, stores, and coffee shops you would like to go to. Only 20 minutes away from Destin.

Not sure of the place at first, but surprised at how quite it is. very clean condo and grounds. awesome neighbors. great fishing and close to everything we needed. we will be back.

Gorgeous Hidden Gem

Condo is very beautiful and clean inside. The outside areas around the complex are neatly landscaped and clean. The dock on the sound is very nice and there are several sitting areas with tables and chairs. We saw stingrays, manatees and dolphins from the dock on multiple occasions. They also have a couple hammocks out there too. Lots of parking spaces available near the entrance closest to the unit. Overall, we had a great time at a great place if we ever come back to the area, we definitely rent it again.

Perfect location halfway between Pensacola and Destin

We stayed at Emerald Escape in early Nov 2022. We were looking at purchasing rental properties from Pensacola to Sandestin. Mary Esther was a perfect halfway point. There are very nice restaurants within driving distance that have many of the locals, so you know the food is good! It's also near the Air Base if you are visiting family. The pool overlooks the Bay, very nice view. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, so the view is the courtyard filled with very old beautiful live oak trees. It's quiet, the neighbors are friendly and the apartment itself is newly updated.

Very Nice and Updated Condo

Condo was very clean and updated. Property owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with check-in process. Condo worked very well for our needs on that trip.

Beach Hoppers

This was a great place to stay. I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the courtyard and listening to the birds. Its location was perfect for us checking out the beaches in Destin and close to Pensicola and we also made a trip to Elgin AFB. Will definitely stay again if we make another trip to Florida. The pool was very nice and clean but cold for October. ☺️☺️

Okay condo

Condo kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated. Condo is located on 3rd floor, there is an elevator, but on the other side of the building. Washer and dryer are located on 1st floor laundry room. The outside of the condo needs updating and paint. Quite area but if you want to go to Destin, be prepared for very slow moving traffic, about a 45 minute drive.

Home away from home.

This was a perfect condo for our stay. Slept 4 people easily. Very quiet neighborhood. Everything provided in the condo that anyone might need while there! Would stay again if ever back in the area.

Great stay!

Unit was very clean and we enjoyed our stay so much! It was my husband, myself, and two children ages 4 and 2. There is only one bedroom (we were aware of this prior to booking) so we brought two twin air mattresses for our children. We didn’t really need to though as they have a sofa bed and an air mattress. Dan was so friendly and helpful when we checked in and the check out process was so easy! The area is an easy drive from the commercialized Destin area which we prefer. We hope to stay again someday!

Anniversary Getaway

This little condo made for a perfect anniversary getaway. The place was beautiful, super clean, and well furnished with everything we needed. We loved having access to kayaks and relaxing by the pool. Dan, the owner, was easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend renting this condo, and definitely plan to come back in the future!

Such a cozy place!

Overall, great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Loved it. Also found a unique experience with a little food-truck village in downtown Fort Walton. It's in an old car wash at the corner of Miracle Strip and Florida Place.

Perfect location!

My kids and I enjoyed our vacation and our condo was clean and in the perfect location to get to several beach spots. Dan was kind and prompt with al our questions. We will book mark this and use it in the future!
