Belmont is an 11 bedroom home in the heart of Victor Harbor. Being capable of sleeping 23 people, Belmont is a great place for families, friends and colleagues to all get together under the one roof. Belmont also has large lounge room with pool table, large dining areas (inside and outside, weather permitting) and a large kitchen area.

Being located centrally in the heart of Victor, Belmont is in easy walking distance from the beach, supermarkets and the main shopping and restaurant precinct.

Guests will have access to the entire home and enjoy privacy during their stay (with the owner and cleaning personnel not accessing the property while in use by guests).

Belmont has secure off street parking for 9 vehicles.

Family get together

For my extended family to get together, we need plenty of beds & space to relax. Belmont served our needs beautifully. It was clean, well maintained with a large dining space & a great living area. We self-catered in the kitchen, which has only one oven & stove top, but is otherwise very well supplied & we utilised the outdoor BBQ. The location is an easy walk to the beach & conveniently close to shops. This was my second stay at Belmont & we’re hoping to return in the future.

Great group accommodation

This venue was perfect size for extended family gathering. Just a couple of minor things which we have given feedback on eg one shower really didn’t work but otherwise would recommend. Kitchen facilities (sink, oven) a little small for a house accommodating a large group (BBQ is standard WebberQ), we just adjusted our cooking to suit and stove/oven standard but size of other areas was great! Comfy lounges, car parking excellent, and Jason was a great host. Have already recommended to other large families.

Awesome for large groups

This was our second stay in this great house. It is spacious and has so many bedrooms, it’s hard to choose! It is located an easy 2 minute stroll to the beach and all amenities. Ample off street parking. Jason is a dream host! We’ve already booked another stay!

Family post COVID reunion, and 70th Birthday

Would recommend caution if booking this property. Property was well positioned and comfortable for our group. The disabled bathroom was poorly set up. No shower chair or grab rails, no hand held shower and floor flooded due to poor drainage. Toilet was good when floor was dry. Kitchen needs more than a small domestic stove and oven to cater for the number of people the property can accommodate. BBQ was also small. After returning interstate what had been a happy weekend was completely spoilt by being falsely accused of having pets at the property and charged a further $1100 for cleaning of carpets and soft furnishing’s by the owner. After lodging a complaint with Stayz, it has taken two and a half months to get the money refunded to our account.

Fantastic house perfect for a work trip!

This is a very unique property, that was absolutely perfect for our trip. We were a group of colleagues on a work trip for a few days and it was ideal. Great location, everything was clean, perfect for a group like ours.

Great house in great location

A group of 18 stayed in this property for a long weekend. No couple had to sleep seperately and we still had two spare bedrooms with bunks. House is well heated. Kitchen is very basic but did the job. Sharing bathrooms was slightly challeging but rest of the house and location far out weighed this aspect. Large lounge room with games an a dining room that could seat all of us comofrtably. Highly recommend

Excellent Location Great House

Fantastic House accommodating everyone with space to move. Parents and children loved the air soccer table and pool table. Within walking distance of most things. Family had a great time, and look forward to going back there time and time again. Kind Regards Jackie

Separate rooms for snoring

Suited our group perfectly. A room each! We enjoyed the pool table. The competition became very competitive.

Victor getaway

The house was wonderful and better than the photos! Very big, easy to follow instructions on how to get in and the owner was friendly. Everything is walking distance (drakes, pubs, Maccas etc) so it was a very relaxing stay! Would definitely stay again :)

I'm an environmentally friendly person who enjoys time with family and friends. Belmont has features such as solar panels to reduce energy reliance from fossil fuels. I'm constantly trying to reduce waste and now provide large bottled spring water to reduce the need for guests to have individual throw-away plastic bottles.

Belmont is one of the last remaining old guest houses in Victor Harbor. It has had a history of accommodating large numbers of holiday makers, including many high profile families from South Australia. Belmont has also had history as offices and as a Hotel. The use as holiday accommodation once again, including by the owner, seems a nice way to bring life to the grand old building.

Belmont also has good access for people with mobility issues. This is helpful for large groups with varying accessibility requirements.

The unique benefit of Belmont is that it can accommodate large families under the one roof. There are not really many places where you can house multiple families together and still have plenty of space for people to retreat to for some privacy.
