Sitting on absolute beachfront, La Casa de la Playa is a beautiful Ernst Plischke designed house on the Kapiti Coast.

With One large bedroom and a large shared sleeping space that is enclosed with a portion door as well as a bunk room in the sunporch, there is plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy a beachside escape in Kiwi holiday style! The open-plan living is bright and welcoming with beachy tones and nautical styling. The lounge opens out onto the paved courtyard and grassy yard stretching out to the sands of Waikanae Beach.

Wake up and stroll out into the garden, where you can conduct the morning surf report with a cup of Nespresso coffee in hand. After a morning dip, the outdoor shower is on hand to rinse off the salt and sand, before frying up some bacon and eggs on the BBQ!

La Casa de la Playa is ideal for water lovers, with plenty of room to park the boat on site, as well as kayaks, boogie boards and a surfboard available for use. If your ideal holiday = nothing but relaxation; the bookshelf is well-stocked, and the golden sands of Waikanae Beach are the perfect place to park a towel and work on your tan!

This home is in the Olde Beach area of Waikanae in walking distance to shops, tennis court, golf course, gallery and cinema, as well as the delicious French bakery.

The Super King bed in Bedroom 1 can be split into two King Single beds if needed.Please note that the bunk beds are in the sunporch, which is a common space and not an enclosed separate bedroom.As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.There are three adult life-jackets and three buoyancy aids available for guest use - please provide life-jackets for young children if needed.On the front lawn there are two poles with hammock attachments - so bring your hammock along for a lazy read with just the sound of the sea, some shade and protection from the sea breeze.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.Please note that the partition doors that separate the large sleeping area from the main living space are difficult to close and open at times.
