The size of the property was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 3 children, especially having access to two lounges and dining areas, and a huge amount of outdoor space. The quails in the garden, with their 8 babies was a real treat too. Great location in being close to the beach, town and motorway.

Spacious and convenient

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for us, close to the beach, golf course, nearby family and the shops including the excellent bakery. Very spacious house with large bedrooms and multiple areas to relax.

Appreciated the beautiful home in Waikanae with all the amenities so close to the beach and lovely restaurant and bakery as well as the Four Square.

Family Christmas

We had a great time celebrating Christmas. The home is enormous and meant that we all had our own bedrooms and also other spaces that we could hang out in. Would recommend this property for groups. It has everything that you could possibly want. Absolutely ideal.

A very pleasant surprise

The pictures online due not do this "manor" justice. We were pleasantly surprised with the design, cleanliness and efficiency of this very cute house. It was centrally located within walking distance of Waikanae Beach restaurants and not too far to the motorway to travel. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Excellent Family stay

We had a fabulous stay thank you. The house was bigger than we thought but meant we had spaces for everyone from 18 year olds to 70 year olds and could host local family as well. The only thing we had problems with was the Regulator for the BBQ. It worked for a while and then stopped as the bottle started to empty. Other than that we had a lovely time.

Amazing property

The pictures do not do this property justice, it's an amazing piece of property with plenty of space and amenities. Beryl, our host, was wonderfully accommodating and attentive. The property has a wonderful landscape with plenty of beautiful trees and flowers that attracted a lot of different birds and pollinators. You could sit in the sun corner or outside for hours and see all kinds of different animals. A very peaceful and relaxing place, and we'd be so happy to be able to stay again someday. Highly recommend.
