Modern cabin with all the amenitities. Can sleep 6.3 bedrooms ,bath ,kitchen ,living room. Deck ,barbecue grill ,picnic table. Located near many wineries ,golf courses beaches ,hiking trails and excellent fishing (with my charter boat and others in area also) for salmon and trout, Walleyes ,bass and pike. Famous Chimney Bulffs 3 miles away .cabin is located 700 ft off from main road surrounded by woods and field with property going down to Sodus Bring your own towels and linens. Sheets etc (Twin beds)and one full size. 2 nite minimum stay. Long term rental available

Family Time

We were looking for a nice place to get together for a weekend as a a family. Nice, clean cabin.. Had everything we needed. The one 'problem' was no doors on the bedrooms.. (with one child and a couple dogs/ kennels, it was tough to put them in an evening quiet space, away from the adults.

Family Fishing Trip

Although the weather didn't cooperate and we didn't get to ice fish the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and so quiet. We explored the woods and checked out Sodus. We did a little fishing at the pier...we hope to come back next year and that there will be ice on the lake. Beds were comfortable and house was warm. Thanks for the memories.

Would find something better

When i looked at the pictures i thought that the cabin was near WATER!!!! Was very disappointed. The ceiling fan blades were nasty with thick dust. The clock didnt work and the coffee pot had fruit flys/ tiny bugs in it. Was suppose to stay till Sunday but checked out at 5pm Saturday. Been there done that won't be back again!!!

A cozy place to stay if you are visiting upstate NY

We found the property to be very clean and welcoming. It has a fisherman's theme with a lot of fishing trivia, artifacts and information in there. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book it again if we plan a vacation around this place.

Overall Decent Stay

Check in process was super easy and Brian was super nice! House was decently clean, the only thing is there were large amounts of dog hair on the mattresses. Also, not sure if the listing includes this but there is another house on the property that you are staying next to. It got very cold during the night so I suggest you bring multiple and I mean MULTIPLE very warm blankets. Also beware if it is snowing!! The driveway wasn’t that cleared out and we all got stuck leaving and had to push the cars ourselves to get out.

Nice quiet weekend

It was nice and secluded. It said to bring your own linen but there went any blankets thankfully we brought our own. The couch and pillows were full of animal hair and the chair was the same.

Quite retreat

Truly a fishing cabin. Only thing I missed was a fire pit. They did have a propane fire pit but not the same as wood burning. Brian was responsive and delivered as promised

Cabin under the stars!

This was an amazing place! Clean cabin has character and all the necessities needed to have a terrific time. The weather at the time we came was cold and rainy so next time we will plan on coming in May or June. We are definitely going to come back so we can enjoy some fishing! Wildlife was incredible too!

Owner was VERY responsive to our needs and communications. Well appointed cottage with lots of space for all of us. Kitchen was well appointed. It must be noted that the VRBO lists one king bed but it is all singles and bunks.

Quiet place

Location was within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to do. Very peaceful and quiet. Had everything we needed. Just realize it's a hunting and fishing cabin with only single beds. Worked just fine for us.

Great hunting and fishing camp

Had a great stay at the cabin. Comfortable. Set back in the woods. While I was walking down the property path to the bay, a deer jumped right in front of me.
