My private home of 20+ years is located only 4 miles from downtown Tannersville nestled in exclusive Onteora Park. It's secluded by NYS-protected forest providing ultimate mountain cabin privacy, ample wildlife, mountain views, and hiking trails. There's plenty of outdoor seating and lawns for family activities. Hunter Mt., Kaatterskill Falls, Colgate, and North-South Lakes are all within just miles of the property.

Great property

Very comfortable, home well equipped, nicely decorated and great location. The AC in the living room was a big plus when working during the day.At night it was very comfortable upstairs with fans. Owner as very helpful and very responsive. Great stay!

I've owned my Tannersville home for over 20 years. I purchased it while living and working in Manhattan in 2002 as a 'get-away' home. It was in terrible shape at the time and I have spent all this time gradually renovating it. While there is always 'work to be done' it has evolved into a special cozy spot.

Why they chose this property

The home is located in the exclusive Onteora Park neighborhood of Tannersville. Surrounded by gorgeous Arts and Crafts style mountain homes, original stone walls, The Mountain Top Arboretum, All-Souls Stone Church, Deer Mountain Inn, and Water Shed protected forests. Only 4 miles to the village of Tannersville and 6-7 to Hunter Mountain. Kaaterskill Falls, Colgate, and North-South Lakes are also within miles of the property.

What makes this property unique

The lovely drive down Route 23c leads to my long driveway. It leads down a valley where my home is secluded around a pristine Catskill forest. It's extremely private, quiet, and beautiful. There are very large lawns and gardens for plenty of outdoor activities. Perfect for dogs that love to run! The large wrap-around balcony is comfortable for dining and relaxing while one enjoys the mountain view. It's a very special spot.
