Host was good. Location of place is great! Accessibility to metro is very good. Only complaint is that I think we should have been told that construction was going on in the building all around us and the daily alarm clock of construction at 7:00 am was a little inconvenient.
The person who met us was so nice. The unit is very close to Chatswood station which was really convenient. The unit was clean and tidy.

I am not sure why this property has 2 10/10 and one 8/4 reviews. Maximum I could give it would be 5/10. I prefer not to give negative reviews, but in the interests of assisting other travellers to make decisions on whether to book this property or not, here goes:Positives:Good location close to shops and public transportFast and reliable WIFIGood supply of toilet paper and towelsNot ideal but acceptable due to pricing:High level of traffic noiseWhole building and the apartment very shabby and rundownPoor quality bed linenUnsatisfactory:Very poorly equipped kitchen - lack of basic utensils such as a can opener and egg lifter, broken kitchen scissors, badly scratched Teflon cookware, a random assortment of crockery including chipped items, only one bowl suitable for serving dishes like pastaGrubby, greasy exterior of the rundown microwaveNeither kitchen sink can be filled as the plug leaks. Smaller sink doesn’t drain properly.Overall lack of cleanliness. Looks OK superficially but floors not properly cleaned and built up dust in many areas.To give credit to the owner he did respond to our concerns and offer a solution.
