This two bedroom townhouse is located on the second and third floors of the recently renovated Southeaster Condominium complex at New Smyrna Beach. Beautiful ocean views from the king size bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom, also upstairs, has two double size beds. The balcony off the guest room allows for viewing the sunsets in the West.The The upstairs has a full bath with shower/tub.

The downstairs features stunning ocean views from the kitchen , dining area and living room. The downstairs bathroom is a full bathroom with a fully tiled shower.The decor is beachy and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation. There is a porch overlooking the the drive-free ocean beach and beautiful grassy courtyard.

The Southeaster features 2 large pools, one of which is seasonally heated, 2 kiddie pools, 2 tennis courts, basketball hoop, shuffleboard courts, recreation room with pool table, foosball, library, flat screen TV, and WIFI, 2 laundry facilities, and an ice machine.

Quiet getaway

Great stay, just what we wanted. Quiet place on the beach to relax and read without all the crowds. Very short drive to variety of delicious restaurants.

Wonderful visit

Great property right on the ocean. Four adults stayed a week and had a great time. Steve communicated well and was helpful. We loved our stay on New Smyrna Beach.

Beautiful Ocean Front Property

Condo was exactly as described, fully equipment with everything you need for a beach vacation. i did not have to buy anything except groceries. The owner Laura, is so nice and available for any questions. The property was beautifully maintained, with two pools, one heated! lots of lounge chairs around pool and deck overlooking the ocean, direct accession by stairs to beach. Miles of sand for morning walks. Easy access to condo with parking in front of back stairs. Thanks Laura, for a great vacation hassle free

Amazing Views

The complex is very well maintained. The heated pool was still a bit chilly but the kids didnt mind too much. The unit was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately it is quite outdated. A little TLC and updating and this place would be off the charts. The only thing that really bothered us was the old musty smell. I had to buy candles to mask it. The amazing view and easy access to the beach and pool made up for it though.

Family visit

The location & view were perfect! Plenty of room for even 6 people to stay. The unit is a bit outdated & could use a good steam clean overall, but wasn't dirty per say. Plenty of beach towels to use, beach chairs, umbrella, pool noodles & boogy boards which is a definite plus when you fly in. Great communication from the host & easy check in with a lock box. There should have been more than 1 extra roll of TP & definitely should have been soap in all bathrooms. Master bed was very comfortable, slept great the whole week! All in all a great stay!

Gorgeous Views!

This property has beautiful views from balcony, and is equally close to beach and pool. Loved hearing the ocean waves day and night, and one day we saw dolphin from the balcony! Property grounds and pool are beautiful. The kitchen is well supplied for any cooking needs. Laura was very responsive to any questions we had. Check-in/out was a breeze. Very nice to have double beds in the guest room instead of twins. The property is in a very safe area. Ability to climb stairs is a must to stay in this unit, but this was not a problem for us. Would definitely recommend!

Nice condo, complex nd location

We spent 5 weeks in the unit and it worked well for us compared to past extended winter rentals in FL. Laura was great to work with. The condo was nicely furnished and well equipped for cooking and other longer term needs. The complex "laundry room" and free access to ice machine was a nice addition (though in-condo washer/dryer is nice). They were finishing repairs from Ian/Nicole hurricane damage to sun deck and beach-access stairs but minimized impact on visitors and kept beach access open. Management was nice and owners/regulars were friendly. The complex is older but renovated and well maintained. The highlight was the ocean-facing balcony and the sound of the waves in this u-shaped complex. We plan to return!

Great view but needs some TLC.

We had a great week! Laura was super easy to work with and very helpful and quick to respond. The unit itself could a lot of TLC, the appliances in the kitchen work but are very old. The 2nd bedroom upstairs had about 5-10 bug traps set all throughout the room. We didn’t see any bugs but my girls weren’t at peace with the fact that they were there. We spent the majority of our time outside, so we had a wonderful time. The experience would’ve been 10x better if the unit got some upkeep/upgrades. (Curtains in the master bedroom would be nice!) The quality of this unit is much lower compared to the 3 units our friends rented through the property. Overall, the view wins on this property.

Pros and Cons

Laura was fantastic to deal with! The grounds and pools are well maintained and beautiful. The unit itself is perfect for a family of 6. The kitchen and baths could use some updating and the cleaning team could do a little better before arrival. Beds are comfortable and clean. This unit offers so many extras that make the stay easier and more enjoyable such as beach towels, a box fan, beach chairs, toys for the kids, plenty of towels and wash cloths, blow dryer etc.... We stayed mid May and the pools and beach were basically empty. We did have a run in with an older gentleman (I would assume maybe a permanent resident) at the pool who wasn’t very friendly, almost rude. The unit is also on the second and third floor and you must climb stairs inside and outside the unit. The beach itself is wonderful and we would absolutely go back and stay here again. Thank you to Laura for her communication and effort in making this unit great for those who stay.

Cleanliness

The property setting and the grounds beautiful. Our actual condo sadly was very dirty, and messy. Dry cleaner hangers to hang our clothes, very flimsy, window far left of master did not open, junk in both bedroom closets, bed bugs in guest bedroom beds, cockroaches, all over, worst part of that was one fell out of vent in kitchen when I was making a salad one night right into my bowl, some sort of slime right down the middle of fridge door when we arrived. Couches stained, carpet dirty. Sad, as Laura had been so responsive and even sadder to know how much money we spent.

Place far exceeds expectations

Had a comfortable 1 week way stay in this little slice of heaven. Pictures do not do this place justice. Views of ocean and pool. Short walk to the beach. Perfect spot for families. Would book again in a heart beat. Owner extremely responsive. 5 out of 5

Our new favorite spot

Our first time to New Smyrna Beach & we love it. Facility was great. Owner was quick with communication. The microwave needs updating & never could get the master bedroom TV to work but other than that we loved it. Right on the beach, great views from balcony. Selling point was that second bedroom had full size beds not twins. No elevator but wasn’t a problem for us. Definitely bring your own beach towels as there’s no laundry in room.

Fun-filled February

The condo was well appointed and nicely furnished. The kitchen could use a little updating. The owner, Laura, was very prompt in addressing a couple of issues in the beginning of our stay. The condo complex was quite beautiful, right on the ocean and the returning guests were very friendly and made us feel right at home.
