Acogedora casa aislada directamente en el agua con relajantes vistas del atardecer. La propiedad tiene un muelle con cobertizo y ascensor. Noches tranquilas escuchando el crepitar del fuego y el chapoteo de la ola contra la orilla. Ubicado en un camino de grava sin salida, muy aislado, amplio patio con muchas vistas al lago. Gran lugar de pesca para todas las edades. Muy rústico y rural. ¡Nuestras gasolineras cierran a las 8 pm a más tardar! Muchos recuerdos familiares hechos aquí.

Check in was easy and location is great. House was adequate, hvac worked great. Furniture is older, could use the outdoor space better. Owners stay in garage apartment connected to house by breezeway.

Not a Good Experience

If you want peace, quiet and relaxation or have a boat this is not the place to rent. Listing states, “We share the driveway, yard and dock” but fails to disclose the house is also shared. When the house is rented out, the owner lives in the converted garage with children and dogs. Listing also states, “No tying boats / jet skis to dock.” (Regardless additional insurance is required). We were willing to make an allowance since we were assured there was a good option for tying off – there was not. It had rained a lot so the water level was several feet past the retaining wall. The tree we were told to tie the boat to was on the side of the cove, and required trekking through tall grass, water and mud to reach a sidewalk that had overgrown vegetation & was very slippery/unsafe due to algae. Less than ideal – especially in the dark, but was ideal for snakes. No concessions made for yard conditions and no dock exceptions made (even though you pay for insurance). No warning of yard conditions until the morning of check in and only due to us reaching out asking for early check in. No carpet in the living area and down to concrete sub-floor. The owner will do your laundry for $25-$50/load. Refrigerator was not cooling. No key provided to lock the house. Throughout the house, signage list various fines imposed ($500 cigarette butt, etc.) We checked-out early. Highly disappointed and never felt fully relaxed. In good conscious, cannot recommend this place.

Loved it!

Kim was super informative from the get go and is a super sweet lady! She communicated quickly, helped out with things around the area, etc. Can’t say anything bad about the place or her. Definitely would stay there again! Great location & peaceful property!

family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. This vacation home really did feel like we were at home for the week. lots of room to explore even tho we didn't get to enjoy that too much thanks to Texas like worst summer ever😄. The drought did affect our fishing quite a bit, but we did get to fish some.. caught a few keepers at least enough for one meal! any problems that came up were handled immediately.. would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to have a family vacation or just wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of living in town!! we will definitely be back!!

Location worked well for us!

This was one of the cleanest VRBO properties we've ever stayed! The house is off a gravel road and nicely secluded for a quiet stay. We were visiting family with a house in the area, so water being low and less water was not a problem for us this year. We had a flat tire on our car in Corsicana - and the hostess even offered to help us find a tire shop! That's extra service -- thanks Kimberly.

Office fishing trip

Property was a great location to meet with our fishing guide on Richland Chambers. Only a few miles to the marina. Kimberly was very helpful during our stay. Sleeps 8 very comfortably and probably 10 if you have kids.

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the lake view very much. The front toilet wasn’t working and we had to use the master bath but all worked out. Would stay again.

Not as expected

The house was small, cute and fitting for the number of people we had BUT the outdoor such as the yard & docks could need some update. Since it did rained before we arrived the yard was muddy so a sidewalk path to the dock would be ideal. And maybe add a picnic table or two would be grateful to hve. Chairs out on dock would be nice as well. Thanks

Superior host

We spent 3 days visiting with our daughter at this place. It met.all our needs and Kimberly made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of space to move around inside and out. She left us a cold batch of craft beers on arrival! (Which we needed to survive the 105 degreeTexas heat). The AC was brand new and kept us alive. Thanks for a great weekend.

Excellent vacation!

Kimberly was extremely helpful with any questions we had or anything we needed. The house was cozy and comfy, but we were outside on the lake or playing in the 4 acre lot most of the time. It was great for the family to unwind. The kids already want to go back.

Above and beyond.

Everything was above and beyond: the property, the fishing, the relaxation, the house, amenities, etc. but most of all the property owner. HIGHLY recommend. Absolutely wonderful.

Fantastic Relaxing Getaway Locaton

Nature, fishing, exploring, fireworks, and campfires.... what more could you want? Myself, my husband, our 3 kids, and our 3 dogs had the best weekend at the lakehouse. The house was extremely clean with beautiful views out the windows. The owner was so friendly, she had treats waiting for us and the kiddos upon check-in. The property was beautiful and secluded, closest we got to another person was a boat going across the lake. After fishing all afternoon, we sat around a campfire singing songs and roasting marshmallows for smores. We can't wait to go back!
