Lake house bliss

It was perfect for me and my close friends. We enjoyed the lake each day and all remarked that the beds were very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful lake retreat

This cozy, well-appointed home was perfect for an end-of-summer getaway. Communication before and during was outstanding. The beds were as comfortable as our own. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful lake by kayak and paddle boat. And we got some beautiful family photographs in the evening light. We will return again!

Amazing

We had an amazing stay in this adorable cottage. It was spotless and peaceful. We used the kayaks and the pedal boat. Watch your step as you first enter - the downstairsbedroom has a step down. (There is a sign, but I was too excited to notice!)We appreciated having access to a washer and dryer, the deck, and the AC. Our family had a wonderful time and we hope to return!

Tried to find out how to get access to smart TV. Told that owner away and password access not available, House and location beautiful.

Cottage very clean & comfortable, however, the 2 bedrooms upstairs became very warm & had to use a fan as the central a/c didn’t work as well as it did downstairs . Sat on large deck with our morning coffee & enjoyed the beautiful view. From the deck you’re just a few steps to the small beach area & lake. Water is clear, you can see to the bottom. We swam, used our own kayaks & paddle boards every day. Lots of geese & ducks at times came into the yard even with the fencing to keep them out. It was a great week to be on the lake as the temps were in the high 80’s & we loved being in the water. Rick was great & responded to our questions quickly.

Beautiful location

The property has a beautiful spot on the lake with great views. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Home is pretty accurate to the listing, a couple of minor upgrades would help tremendously. But overall, great family spot that was very clean and comfortable. Property manager Rick was excellent. Very responsive and easy to contact.

Beautiful water view

Stayed here in September 2021 as a way to get away for a few days. Never been to the Berkshires and this property is located on beautiful Ashmere Lake. Location was excellent if you wish to stay on property and want quiet. If you want to access the main Berkshire towns, plan at minimum a 20 minute drive (30-45 for Lenox, for example- mileage is deceiving). The other thing people should know is that both bathrooms are on the first floor, so those that are sleeping on the second floor would need to come downstairs at night to use the bathroom. As I stayed in the first floor bedroom, this was not a problem for me. I would go back.

Lakeside Retreat

We had a wonderful time at this lovely waterfront home. The rental process was simple, the property manager followed up with information and the house was equipped with everything we needed. The house was everything we expected and more.

Loved it!

Plenty of room, beautiful lake views and direct access to water. Perfect, kayak and paddle boat were lots of fun. Just stayed a bit warm upstairs.

The house is very nice. Being right on the lake is a definite plus. Views from the sunroom and deck were amazing. We ran out of propane on Tuesday but a quick text to the Rick(property manager)fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Rick was extremely helpful when we had questions. Very clean comfortable house for the 6 of us. Our boys spent every waking moment on the lake. My only small complaint would be there weren’t enough plates. We had to wash dishes a couple of time a day. We will definitely be back next year.

Staying at the getaway

A lovely spot - lakeside location, great views from inside and outside the house. We arrived here towards the end of a 14-day tour of New England, with plans to explore the Berkshires. We soon decided we couldn't bear to tear ourselves away from this spot so we pretty much stayed at the house for two days before resuming our driving tour! Making the most of the deck, the lawn and most of all the lake - pedaloe, swimming and just loafing about on the lilo. A hidden gem amidst the rolling hills of the Berkshires!

Better than described

We were surprised to find a sandy beach on the property, it wasn’t in the pictures, and it made our daughter’s week (which made our week, too, as we put our beach chairs in the sand and read). We love this lake and the cabin is situated well with views from the upstairs bedrooms that we woke up to and watched the ducks search for food each morning. We will be back. It was a clean renovated cabin with the most comfortable beds we’ve had in a rental, no exaggeration. Rick was a great interface, too. Quick with replies.

Quaint get away

We had a wonderful time. A little piece of heaven on the lake. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Had everything we would want. The only negative is the need for more cookware, specifically better pans. Highly recommend renting this home. We would definitely come back!
