The room was wonderful! It was set in a very accessible location to the beach and many restaurants. Me and my wife would definitely stay again! We don’t have children currently but will definitely be bringing them when we do!

The property was very nice and my family had a great time. Upon our arrival back home we had noticed we had left some items and the property owner was kind enough to mail them back! Great place and right across the street from the beach.

Vacation

Very clean place and fun not to far from anything we loved the pool and relaxation sitten out on balcony only thing was upstairs above our room running and dragging furniture across the floor when sleeping but overall a nice place to stay and recommend to anybody to stay there will go back again

Nice place and good location

We enjoyed this place. It’s a great location and the beach is just across the street. The resort had two nice pools but one was closed half the time, which is one reason why I didn’t give it a five star rating. The host was great about answering any questions I had. I wish the couch was more comfortable. The living room was kind of small and there weren’t many places for our family of four to eat and sit. We were fine with that, just wanted to mention it in case anyone else may need to know. There’s not a full kitchen. There’s no oven, but they have a small toaster oven. The fridge isn’t a full size one, but it was big enough for what we had. There’s a smaller mini fridge as well. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. I’d recommend this place for a family of 4 with kids under 12.

It was Fine

Overall, the trip and stay was fine. The biggest issue is since everything is through a rental company, there is not direct communication with anyone. I had sent messages via the app and never got a response. The property itself is at an amazing location. The parking garage is super confusing to find the exit. The room was ok. Paint is starting to chip, the plunger was broke and the toilet took a few flushes. With Tyne TV on a wire rack in the master, it just seemed incomplete or rushed with furnishings. Not that I’ve learned the ropes (how to get out of the garage, what email address to communicate with), I would stay again for the location. Pools were nice too but other guests would occasionally play their own inappropriate music so we decided the beach was the best place for our family.

Good for the money

Pros: It was ok for the price we paid. Good location and amenities. It was very close to the beach. Cons: the toilet didnt flush all the way. The property manager said they would send a plumber but he never came so we had to put toilet paper in the trash which is disgusting. Only one light in the bedroom worked and the mattress was horrible. Other than that we had fun and thats all that matters.

Wonderful location! Located right across from the Gulf, cross walks, restaurants, fast food, pizza, and Walmart. Pools were nice, chairs and loungers nice. The water could’ve been cooler, water temp was more like bath water. Bed was comfortable, bunk beds were nice for smaller kids and the futon was comfortable as a bed as well.

Loved the Pickled Pelican!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pickled Pelican! Beautiful views and artistic decor! The only problem was the internet access, we had no internet for our entire stay! Across the street on the beach, I had access. Otherwise great time!

Mother’s Day get away

My 80 yo mother, myself and my two girls stayed for two nights for a Galveston get away. We loved the room we had! Great area, easy to get in and out of, friendly staff, we felt very safe and secure! The room was decorated so cute! Everything we needed was right there, most already in house but what Walmart next door for quick stop! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spring break at the Pickled Pelican

Clean and comfortable for our family of four Spent time relaxing on the lanai playing cards and enjoying the view. Fun artwork throughout the space. Only negative was the wad of hair left on the hook in the shower.

Was not smoke free

Cons: the one bedroom smelled so bad of cigarettes smoke I could not sleep in there. It took 3 days for coastal wave to email be back about it. Their fix was to spray Febreze, All the bedding and pillows smelled of smoke. If you don’t mind sleeping in a room that’s been heavenly smoked in then this is your place. Pros. Good location, college room vibees, at least they have lots of sleeping options other than the bed room and Great balcony. The pool is nice too. Close walk to the beach. I was not offered any time of refund for not being able to use the bedroom due to the smoke smell.

Pickled Pelican Fun

The room was cute and cozy, had just enough space, the room looked right over the pool area which is actually a really nice view of the palm trees. You can also see the beach from the patio! Over all great stay. Everything was nice and clean.

Great stay

We had a great time. Maybe an extra trash bag if anything? No problem that it wasn’t provided just one thing we didn’t think of. Found extra towels the last night night. Will def stay again. We really enjoyed it.

This place was amazing from being so clean, the owners were absolutely amazing when I needed them. Very quick to answer any questions. I don’t have any complaints. We WILL be back!!
