Bienvenido a Top of the Rock. Esta apartada casa de montaña de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños es un lugar ideal para relajarse con la familia y los amigos y disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas de la roca de Turquía y las montañas más allá. La cabaña se encuentra a una hora de Colorado Springs, a dos horas de Denver y Breckenridge y a un hermoso recorrido en automóvil de muchas de las atracciones turísticas de Colorado.

Top of the Rock es perfecto en cualquier época del año. Wonderful secluded location surrounded by nature

The cabin was just as described. Comfortable and spacious for our family. The location can't be beat. We would stay here again if ever visiting the area.

Good place

Beautiful place to stay. You will not have signal for a while and everything is a far drive. If you love hiking and exploring it’s really good.

Fun in the mountains

We had a wonderful time in the modern and spacious house overlooking the spectacular Turkey Rock. The garage was ideal for housing our motorcycles.

Mountain Escape :)

The cleanliness and accommodations of this property were fantastic for my family and me. I wasn't expecting how far of a drive this place would be from the next big town. The mountain roads were an experience for us all! The location was exactly as described. We are from south Texas so this was an extraordinarily beautiful change in scenery for us!

Great

Great cabin. It's 20 mi out of town, but you get used to the drive. Beautiful views along the way. Time for new mattresses on the beds, but still tolerable.

Far out!

We completely enjoyed our stay! Beautiful surroundings and lovely home. You are VERY far out, so if you love nature this is the place for you! The nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away, so definitely prepare for that. Thoroughly enjoyed our week (-: Highly recommend.

Great house and location

This is a great home at a great location with a great view. The check in process was smooth and the hosts were very responsive. The house was very clean and appointed with everything we needed during our stay. Be aware that there are adjacent homes in close proximity (one home is only 25ft or so away). OHV trails are very close by and there is a company that rents UTVs.

Remote and Relaxing

This property was great for the five of us. The teenagers had a loft and their own bathroom. The location has beautiful scenery and bird watching galore. My advice is to make sure you have your food staples before you come. The nearest store is 40 minutes.

Nice place to stay. The ride from Denver airport and from the property to Breckinridge via google maps was partially hard packed dirt roads (minimal amount of miles) was unexpected, but, we figured out alternate routes easy enough. That's on us though. Beds were comfortable. WIFI worked well! Smoking is allowed outside also.

Views of Turkey Rock

The property was in a nice quiet location many miles down a dirt road. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed seeing the many bird species feeding on the deck. It has all the amenities needed but is quite a distance away from town. House has Wi-fi but no cell service. You can walk or drive a short distance to get cell service.

Quiet getaway

This cabin is located in the woods, not near any conveniences. Make sure you bring everything you need for your stay. The cabin was comfortable, we enjoyed using the wood stove! Streaming was available on one TV, DVD players used for the others. Wifi worked great but cell phones had no reception. The neighbors were very friendly and helped with a stuck vehicle due to snow. We would recommend staying here.

Family time with Mom

This was a perfect place to spend together for Mother's Day weekend. We had plenty of space, the kitchen was perfect and the view was gorgeous! We went hiking/rock scrambling on Turkey Rock Mtn which was just enough adventure for all our age ranges. While here we experienced three of the four seasons ending our time with 10 inches of snow and a 10 hour power outage. The neighbor came over and made sure our fire was going, we had enough wood and all was well. Just another fun fact to our family time together. We plan on returning. Thanks!

Great location tucked away, but needs update

This is a nice, tucked away cabin that was great to relax and enjoy the views and fresh air. But the place is in dire need of an upgrade. The beds were old and squeak, the couches have stuffing coming out and are covered with a weak blanket. The kitchen pans and utensils are old and cheap, and the electronics are very old except for the surround sound, that we couldn't get to work. This place could be amazing if these things were taken care of.

To future guests, there is a surround sound system in the home but it is intentionally not connected due to noise issues in the past. The home is located in quiet community and we hope that everyone will enjoy the peace and quiet.

AMAZING

The Cabin at the top of the Rock was more than amazing! It was so peaceful and secluded, and Turkey rock was so close! (pictures don't do the beauty justice)! Staying in Pike National Forrest was beyond wonderful! We loved how far away it was from everything yet close enough for day trips to the city CO springs or Denver. Rooms were clean, tidy and stocked with tissues! The fireplace kept the entire cabin warm for the night and there was plenty of firewood supplied for our whole trip. Sharon was a joy to work with, very accommodating and responded fast to all my questions! We have already decided we are staying here for our next trip we loved it so much! I have never been so sad at the end of a vacation. If you venture to CO springs definitely go walk around Garden of the Gods it was beautiful!

Beautiful views

Issues with kitchen sink leek. The deck is a great size but is very week in spots with obvious wholes that create some danger. Some of the deck furniture was broken. You may want to invest in some sharper knives and additional forks. There were not enough forks. The trash was left from the pervious week which meant we had no place to but our trash. We were lucky however, because the trash truck came by just before we left and we were able to get all the trash out and picked up. The bench with some shoe storage was broken. This sounds like a lot, but we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful, quiet and perfect way to enjoy Colorado

What a great way to enjoy Colorado. The cabin was perfect even for just the 2 of us. All the amenities were there. Beautiful views from the large windows inside and on the deck. Quiet and peaceful.

Great Home with A Beautiful View

We definitely would stay here again. Town is not as close as we thought but that's what you get when you stay up high! Nothing beats cool mountain air in the morning with warm temperatures later! Did NOT need A/C.

Awesome quietness

Property as described. Really enjoyed some down time and cooler weather compared with what Texas is offering at the moment. Enjoyed some good jeep trails, hikes and awesome scenery. Would recommend to anyone looking to 'get away'. Property is clean and well kept. Would use again.
