Frequent Wildlife Sightings! Be prepared to see wildlife! Bears, Deer and Turkey regularly roam through the yard.
This cozy mountain retreat has 3 king beds and a queen bed in the loft. There's a quaint table for four in the kitchen. When relaxation calls, dip into the hot tub with a view of the mountains.

Host is available by messaging the app. She responds quickly!

This is a neighborhood of mountain homes. Beautiful views of Woodland Park!
You may encounter wildlife! It is common to see deer, turkey and bears roaming around. This neighborhood is about 13 minutes from downtown Woodland Park. Some of the roads are steep so 4WD or AWD will be necessary in the winter.

4 wheel drive may be needed to get to this location in the winter or in other bad weather. We HIGHLY recommend AWD or 4WD to get to the home. Sections of this neighborhood have dirt roads and some are paved. GPS may or may not work in this area. Apple Maps does not work for directions so please use MapQuest or another map program. Access to the house is easy - with a smart lock code

Main Floor:
Kitchen - with refrigerator, stove, microwave, regualar coffee pot & Keurig, a crock pot, water dispenser & kitchen stocked with pots and pans, dishes and basic spices. The kitchen table seats 4.

Master bedroom has a large closet, a dresser, two nightstands and a King bed.

Living Room has a fireplace, couch (with recliners on each end), two chairs, a bench and access to the rear deck and loft
Bathroom has a shower

Upper:
Loft - has a queen bed. There is a portable closet in the loft for a place to hang clothes. There is also a desk and printer in the loft in case you need to print anything.

Lower
Bedroom with King Bed, bathroom with shower/tub, & access to laundry. The closet in this room is locked for an owner's closet but the laundry room has a place to hang clothes.
Bedroom with a King bed and walk outdoor to back yard.



Uber & Taxis are available but may be difficult to get on short notice. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended
Colorado Springs Airport is 36 miles away - about a 45 minute drive
Denver Airport is a two hour drive

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form, upload your government ID and sign and agree to our rental conditions.

There are 2 large humidifiers in the house for guests' use. It is very beneficial in the winter months as it can get dry up in the mountains.

Perfect little cabin in the mountains

We loved this place. The house is cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped. It’s a really easy and luxurious place to be. And the location is great. You can mostly skip Colorado Springs and instead explore the hiking and mountain towns around you. Loved loved loved.

Great stay - very secluded

The home was easy to check in, clean, beautiful views, and has everything you need. It was very secluded and a bit rocky to get to, but well worth it. All instructions were clear and not over the top. We had to reach out for a minor issue with the hot tub it the host was quick to respond and was fixed quickly!

Fantastic Family Vacation

This amazing cozy house was perfect for our family vacation. We wanted to experience mountain living and amazing mountain views, the views from the deck and hot tub are to die for! Perfect location for day trips to Pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls and so much more. Best vacation ever!

Just stunning...

The drive up to this beautiful property is not for the faint hearted! But it is SO worth it. Beautiful property... everything that you could possibly need and more. Immaculately clean. Incredible views. But just be aware... it is over 9000 feet in elevation... this asthmatic struggled at first! But got used to it after two days. Thank you.. a truly memorable stay.

A BEARy great time!

This property was amazing! We were visiting Charis Bible College just six miles up the road and found the seclusion of this property perfect for our group. The bedrooms were HUGE, which we loved. When the title says wildlife sightings, it wasn’t kidding! Shortly after arriving we saw bald eagles circling above. On the first night we were visited by a huge black bear. Later in the trip we seen 6 deer walk down the road. On the last day we had turkeys and grouse in the yard. We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. We will be staying again next April when we return for the 2026 CURE event. Of course, we highly recommend this property.

Nice place for getaway but kitchen was a bit lacking for a party of 6. Drive is definitely dirt roads and messy in weather but the view is beautiful. Beds are great!

Great spot

Great house. Smart TV’s in all the bedrooms. Lots of little touches - isn’t a slapped together rental. Hot tub on deck thru sliding door worked great with view of Woodland Park in valley. Saw deer and plenty of turkey. Secluded spot in newer developed wooded area.

Nice cabin in a great location

Spring Break 2025

The house was perfect for our family of six, and the location was amazing. We were very comfortable in the house even with below freezing temperatures at night. The neighborhood was quiet, with some gobbling from turkeys in the mornings. There are so many things to do in the area (wolf rescue facility, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak, etc.), and this house was a perfect home base. I would definitely recommend this house and will be back.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

Perfect for a weekend escape into the mountains! Close to town, tons of outdoor recreation including lesser known areas if you want to avoid the crowd, and the best sunset view from the hottub! The house was easy to find and check in, spotlessly clean, and felt like a home instead of a vacation rental. It was perfect for well behaved dogs, with a huge yard (not fully fenced) and plenty of room to play fetch. We saw a lot of wild turkeys and mule deer!

Great little cabin! Beautiful views!

While it’s in a neighborhood, it’s so quiet that you hardly even notice. The views from the large windows are absolutely fantastic. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for all of us. Each room has a nice TV, though the WiFi isn’t the strongest, and some streaming services lagged when we watched a movie. The house is well-organized, with everything easy to find and lots of helpful signs and information.The road up to the house is steep and can be a little slick in the winter. It snowed while we were there, but the road was plowed regularly. 4WD wasn’t necessary, but if you’re visiting in the winter, be sure to have good tires.Overall, this is a beautiful, relaxing location, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Several recliner chairs were broken and unstable to use; we were cautious that we would do more damage so we reported the situation to owner and Did NOT use them.I should have reviewed more closely that a DISHWASHER was NOT INCLUDED.Staying for 3 weeks we could have used one.

Gorgeous View

Gorgeous view and cute cabin. If you are looking for an authentic mountain vacay, this is for you. We had a group of deer come up to the house each evening! Please take the notice seriously when it says not to go into the neighborhood without 4x4 or all wheel drive. There is also a sign in the neighborhood urging you to not pass that point without 4x4. After a snow, it would be impossible to get out of the area without 4x4. I have 4 stars just because it takes a good 20 minutes to get into Woodland Park making food or stores a longer than ideal drive and the house can be noisy and you can hear everything when someone is walking around. A dishwasher would be a great addition for vacationers. I did love that the service and internet was still great even on a mountain which is not always the case. The house was very clean and ample cleaning supplies to maintain cleanliness during your stay.

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

Check in went smoothly, and we found the home to be spacious and clean, and the kitchen stocked with plenty of appliances, utensils, spices etc. We liked some of the items provided so much that we will be purchasing some of them ourselves for our own home: shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. The views were amazing and instructions clearly posted throughout the home. It was close to grocery stores, restaurants, shops etc. but the access roads getting to the neighborhood were a bit rough. We had some deer come right up to the front door! We loved our stay and were so happy to be able to bring our sweet dog on vacation with us. There were many pet friendly things to do in the area as well. She enjoyed visiting the local dog park.
