Christmas holidays

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was well equipped and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location was ideal with restaurants and bars all within walking distance. We appreciated the responsiveness of both Ann and Dwayne to any questions we had.

Very nice house

Everything was exactly as pictured. Spent a lot of time on the deck and in the pool and hot tub. Great place to stay.

Home sweet home

The property was wonderful. The master bedroom was amazing. It had many amenities which made the stay relaxing. The lanai was spacious and the pool was relaxing. We could definitely come back!

The property is quite simply awesome. Its in a great part of cape coral and super comfortable. If our party size stays the same, this ill be our go to place when available.

Great house for the family

We enjoyed our stay. The only issue we encountered was with some of the supplies. There was no toilet paper, dish soap, or trash bags. Besides those items everything was great.

Perfect getaway

We decided to spend a little more for a larger house and we were not disappointed! Since Covid started we wanted to get away and just chill at a pool. Check in was really easy I like that they offer a phone call in lieu of meeting someone. The house was easy to operate including the spa, lights and fountains. The master bathroom was amazing! And it was great having Publix close by so we could cook lunch and dinner. Hooking up a laptop to watch any of the apps was easy as well. Will definitely be back when visiting Cape Coral.

Ann, property manager responded quickly to all our needs. Arrived with the main floors needed cleaning. The refrigerator did not function causing us to move freezer items to a family's house. We needed to use a cooler with ice for perishable items. The cleanliness of the house could have been improved with baseboards washed, and windows cleaned. Could also use an updating of furniture. Kitchen pots and pans were in poor to no use in this "gourmet" kitchen. The pool and spa were enjoyed though we had a low salt alert.

COCKROACHES!

The property is beautiful, spacious & fit the needs for our 2 families. Not impressed with the cleanliness, and I’m not hard to please. Green gunk buildup on all the shower heads, urine residue around the toilets & the tile floors were filthy when wiped with a damp cloth. None of that was a deal breaker, but the cockroaches most definitely were! What made a bad situation even worse was the property management’s blasé response to the matter. We encountered the first cockroach in the kitchen the day of our arrival. During check-in the following morning, we informed Ann of the issue & her response was that they are “palmetto bugs” and this is to be expected in Florida-really tried to downplay it. She told us she would notify the maintenance manager to possibly have pest control come & spray “if we want.” Pest control could not come out for 2 days & gave a window of 12p-2p when we would have to be there in order to have the inside sprayed. I asked if a rep from the property management office could allow them access, as we are on vacation & this is not our house. I was told they could not wait for their arrival since they are only there for 3-5 minutes. Pest control offered to spray the outside perimeter & suggested we get roach spray & traps, which we purchased. Everything revolved around this issue! We didn’t eat inside the home, only outdoors on the patio. We refrained from storing any food in the cupboards & kept it all in bags on the kitchen island. We did not run the dishwasher or use any of the dishes. We resorted to buying all disposable dinnerware. We relocated the trash from an open trash can kept in a cupboard to a bag we kept tied up. 4 days into our stay, we returned from a dinner out & found 5 cockroaches in the kitchen. We managed to kill 3 of them, but 2 got away. We checked the 2 traps which revealed another 3 cockroaches. More were found in the garage. I texted Ann to let her know that there was a significant cockroach problem at the home, we were now quite uncomfortable with the situation, and would likely be checking out early. Ann replied that she would call the on call office staff “as this is out of my area of responsibility.” I was later contacted by Marcella who also said this was “out of her wheelhouse” and she would have to discuss the problem with her manager in the morning. Needless to say, nobody slept that night. We were still encountering & killing more cockroaches past 2am. We vacated the next day. Not acceptable!

Beautiful Home!

Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful home & it did not disappoint. Very spacious, enough for our family of 8 to move around with ease. Very comfortable space. We spent the majority of our time in the lanai enjoying the pool, views & able to just relax. I personally tried some fishing & actually caught 4 catfish from the dock. The homes host, Anne was very kind and knowledgeable, answering all questions we had and giving us tips on the best local establishments to visit. We will most certainly will be happy to book again! *Maybe add a tv in the master suite

House is beautiful!

This house was beautiful, and just as listed! The pool and hot tub were amazing and wonderful to come home to after a day at the beach. Our girls (and ustoo!) absolutely loved the pool and were in it every day. The four bedrooms were great and gave our girls space of their own ( 3 teens, they needed it! Lol). The house was very clean and we had no issues. As mentioned in previous reviews, there were several lights out, but we actually replaced a few, no biggie. The garage came in handy for loading/unloading. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we needed. I do wish the house was closer to the beaches, the beach at the Boathouse is actually on the river and water is not the best. I would definitely recommend the house and area, but be prepared to drive a little to get to the Gulf. Our week was just what we needed!

Great family rental

Great experience. Would return again!!! I just wish rentals, not just this one, considered all ages and provided options for infants. We so enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to come back.

Family vacation with a few headaches

We were very excited about this rental. However upon checking in we were notified that there was no hot water and the outside TV was not working. We were asked to contact the maintenance person directly because the rental company tried calling the day before and received no response. The agent thought that if we contacted the maintenance guy directly there would be a faster response. We were also informed that the pool had not been cleaned the week before but it was safe to swim in. We called maintenance and the water and TV was fixed the next day. That night a storm came through and the screen on the lanai came down. We again called maintenance the next day to inform him about the screen and that the hot water not working again. He informed us how we needed to reset the water heater and the hot water would come back on. He also informed us that he would do his best about the screen. We had to call the rental company to find a remedy for the screen due to a lack of urgency from the maintenance contact. Then the main bathroom shower would not turn on. We found a note on the counter that said to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it. All week long we had the water problems. It was really frustrating for how much we were paying for the house. The outdoor pool area is nice but overgrown with weeds. My father in law started pulling them after a few days. Not what we would expect for this nice of a home. The couch is sticky and needs to be thoroughly cleaned. There are a decent amount of pans and utensils in the kitchen. You will also find a crock pot, which came in handy for our stay. There are lightbulbs out throughout the whole home. These should be replaced. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of bedding items for all three rooms and the Murphy bed. The dishwasher is old and needs to be replaced. You may need to run it a couple of times for your dishes to be clean. There are 7 pool towels but other towels that you could use for the pool. There are a few pool floats that are nice for the pool. The internet and cable worked great. We had 5 people streaming and there was only a bit of a lag. Overall we would not rent this property again. It has a lot of potential to be a quality rental, but needs some love and maintenance.

Nice and relaxing

House very nice and clean pool was very pleasant. I few things in the house that needed attention to outside TV didn’t work for the first 2 1/2 days Ice machine didn’t work until the property manager came by to check it out. The washer wouldn’t spin out had to ring the laundry out before putting it in the dryer. Overall was since place just needed a little attention to a few things.

We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! We loved the pool and the views, everything in the house was perfect. The only issue we had was with the AC, but we call Jim, the property manager, the communication was excellent, he called the AC guy and the issue was solved. We want to come back! Thanks

Great family getaway!

The house was perfect and the pool and hot tub were just awesome. We loved the boat lift and we're able to take our boat to Sanibel and cabbage key! Would definitely return.

Great house

location was convenient. It was a family vacation and the house is very pretty. The boat dock was also great for jet-skis which we took out to the beach daily. So nice.
